I have been using the Mijing Z20pro sires for years and years now, It's the goat for reball at the moment. When it comes to paste, I usually use something like Chipquick and I use both the low melt and 183 from them, It works great, and I can get a safe and reliable data sheet with all the chemicals and hazards. Biggest issues I have when reballing is when the bottom board is bent super bad. It just doesn't want to sit in the reball jig flat.
Hey Jesse, could you upload a video of remaking the oxidized and broken pads. Also how much pads is the maximum to remake ? Greetings from Greece my friend
Also curious what’s the best technique for oxidised pads? How to avoid them? And how to fix them based on the state of the pad.. rebal and clean? Clean with a fiber pen (messy fibers all over) or steel brush? scratch with a knife?
Was just doing a 13 pro max and did it like 3-4 times to get it right but your method is great .. Will do it the next time THANKS for all your efford....
I remember few yeas back when iphone 10 come out gives me headache to do it . for me AMAOE stencils are very good for me from iphone 10 to 15 serie .but why are you remove thermal past what will cool down CPU and lower board stuff ?
I find it's safer to use hot air to flow the paste Because removing the board and putting it on the heater will risk touching the paste and messing up the reball
Hello. Am good with microsoldering and am from Ghana. I have good experience and good ethics. I hve have bee watching your videos for couple of years now. I will be glad if you choose me whenever you want an employee. And am 23
What's the biggest issue you have when reballing sandwich boards? 👇👇👇
To dry or to wet solder paste 😂
Some line join together and sometimes some part are missing, gray out
often the paste stucks in the stencil and not at the board when i lift it up, why?
Oxidised pads 😩
Make a video on oxidized pads

Great tip to reflow the solder balls in the middle layer before putting the sandwich back together
Glad it was helpful!

Bro, thank you, but what I'd like to know is the heat you used to join the sandwich together. Is it the same heat temp to separate it?

Great video Jesse. Thank you. What temp did you use on the i2C to split the board?
I use 210C on my heater. Your temps may vary

Because it makes a mess & the phone works fine without it.
Smooth Reball as you
Thank you very much!
which solder paste is good for layer reballing 138c or 158c
158c. The one I show in this video
I directly reflow it on the I2C without the soldering station
I find it's safer to use hot air to flow the paste
Because removing the board and putting it on the heater will risk touching the paste and messing up the reball
Hello Jesse, can i ask u what ISO alcool do u use? thank u
This one: amzn.to/3Ktgs8v
thanks jesse, do you use this low melt paste (158) for data recoveries only or you can use it for fully repairs wich can survive more years
For repairs as I show in this video
@@VCCBoardRepairs thanks
I put my bottom board back on the heater instead. Try it.
Not necessary

you heart must have sunk when you seen that OLED Damage, The worst bit about repairing these days is possibly damaging the screen.
Haha yep. Luckily, I checked the ticket and saw my tech noticed the damage when it came in. So wasn't on us
Video idea: how to pay you 20$ to read the panic log on an iPhones.
Genius 😂😂
