In this video, I'll walk you through the full step by step process of repairing an iPhone 12 with No Service. This had signal issues after a hard drop. The back glass was broken pretty badly & then it ended up stuck on searching.
I will also show you my method of opening these newer iPhones using a heat pad & isopropyl alcohol.
We walk through the sandwich separation process as well as repairing ripped pads.
Then we go through the full process of reballing the sandwich using the Miing Stencil. We use the clean stencil lift method.

I've been able to activate my iPhone 13 pro using clamps and the reflashing technique. Now I have to be very careful with the tools I'll receive and hopefully do a successful reball.

After removing the stencil off the bottom board, I used also the hot air to form the balls, but lately I stopped that… just put the board on the heat plate and let the balls form. You won’t get those small balls that you need to clean anymore

I use the same solder wick. I found it by accident, I was ordering it from NRF, until I found out he is buying this and repooling it and selling it at a premium. I watched an old video of his and saw him using it from the original spool, so I went and bought 4 of them. Although I don't condone the practice, it is indeed a superior product so in retrospect he did me a favor.

The solder used in between the sandwich layers if off lower melting point right ? So it is possible to float the different layers with flux, poke the board and let it cool without actually separating it ?
That way you reflow potentially broken balls without having to reball everything
I did watch the full video, very useful to know that if the phone was restored without baseband working then it will require a restore everytime to check if the repair was a success.
12 series and newer do not have low melt solder, so that won't work.
It's also not a good idea to do that because more often than not, there's ripped pads in between the sandwich. You need to split it to check for that. Otherwise, you're setting yourself up for a warranty repair

235°C is too hight to remove it...using force to remove the upper part will reap off the pad. Let it heat up to about 180°C and use hot air gun of 150°C with a wide nozzle in low air to heat through in a circular manner just like you do when removing protective plates.

Jesse, I saw you video on a se where you used jumper wires to fix mb and explained what problems a bad charged flex would cause. I replaced the charger flex on my iphone 12 and now it charges with cord. But my touch does not work now. Can charge port on this model cause this because I ordere a new screen for it.

Hey Jesse - I bought the scope you linked, as well as the 4k camera and the .5 barlow. I've got this set up on a 4k TV but what I see on the screen does NOT look like 4k. Through the scope with my eyes is amazing, but the screen, not so much. What's your secret?

My phone died. Brought it for repair. Told me it'll need boardwork. They did. Then told me baseband chip was causing the short. They removed it. Now I have a working iPhone with no cellular service (only wifi). Question: Will dual-sim adapters via bluetooth provide alternative cellular service? I had this crazy idea that since the sim is mounted on the adapter, it has it's own baseband chip there. sorry and and thank you in advance.
