    First time I've ever seen "Convert Selection"! WOW. Please never skip these modeling parts. The more advanced one gets, the more you need modeling skills. Thank you!

      I know right! "Convert Selection", along with other viewport-based operations is one of those mystical things in Houdini. Glad it was helpful!

    This was fantastic. It was the first time I saw your video because I am new to 3D and Houdini. I really appreciated your method of explaining and the pace, coming from BMD Fusion, which is top-notch for motion graphics and compositing with some basic 3D. I like how it's similar to Houdini. Perhaps that's why I was able to grasp about 80% of this video, even though I have barely watched any videos about Houdini and 3D or used them in general. Or perhaps you just explained it very well. I'm looking to learn more about Houdini from the basics, as I am very comfortable with a node-based workflow. Please continue your excellent work.🔥🔥

    Glad to see you kept your troubleshooting and refining with attribute changes and tests as part of the video - this is much more accurate and useful for showing users the real process of developing these effects instead of tutorials where the perfect settings are entered the first time. Thank you!!

      @@oceanchill lovely feedback! I know what you mean, when I watch other tutorials, I find that at least a mention of the significance of important parameters is helpful.
      When I edit, I used to be concerned about people getting bored, but now that I think about it, at least there's the option to skip ahead for those who are already familiar. 😂
      Btw, is there anything you wish for me to cover in this series?

    • @oceanchill
      @oceanchill 3 месяца назад +1

      @@RonaldFong Yes, viewers can always skip ahead if they're impatient. I really liked seeing the use of both Blender and Redshift with Houdini in this case, so more content like this would be wonderful - keep up the great work!
