What kind of battery life are you seeing with the FHD screen? I've read on the Lenovo forums that people are getting around 5 hours with the UHD screen.
Lenovo Yogas are known to have screen issues. Mine showed problems in the very first week of use. Got it fixed at the service center (loose cable). Used it for a year and the problem came up again. Took it back to the service center and they said it could not be fixed. I had purchased store warranty luckily. They gave me a cash voucher for part of the laptop value. Wont buy a Yoga ever again. I have a video on my channel about the issue.
Finally! You are the first making a review. Thanks a lot!! It is my top choice for Black Friday, but I would prefer the 15 inch convertible. Do you plan to review that one?

Any chance of either a three-way smackdown or a double-elimination round robin between now and Black Friday? Again, thanks for your stellar reviews!
I just discovered this channel and it's surprising me already. First unboxing on the newer laptops, and nice overall experience :). If you can do a comparison with the new HP Spectre x360, Dell XPS 2-in-1, and maybe the Microsoft Surface Laptop 3/Pro 7 would be awesome. I really want to buy a new 2in1, I tend to go with HP Spectre, but I want to be sure before I buy it.
Pretty sure no one has unboxed it yet because it was only made available for purchase about 1 week ago (in the US at least), and when you try to purchase one on Lenovo's website, it says it will take about 4-6 weeks to ship out. So I am very surprised that you have one already. Excited to see what else you unbox (and review?) in this class of 2-in-1s

Lenovo sells a lot of docks, port add-ons, and adapters. I bought the thunderbolt 3 to HDMI for like 20 something dollars. It keeps the base price and weight down. Also I have seen HDMI to Thunderbolt cables for around 15$'s so, just buy another cable i guess and all will work fine.
I had to return mine. The fans were running constantly - even when I did literally nothing on it (Lenovo support also did nothing to help with this). Such a shame because it has a classy design and an even better screen. The battery life on mine was about 5 hours. I would choose FHD over UHD to get a better battery life.
As an owner of Lenovo Yoga 920 for about 2 years, and as much as I criticize them for their poor quality control issues. I can assure you that this is NOT Lenovo's fault at all but rather Microsoft's poor optimization of their Windows. The fans constantly kicking (which correlates to the poor battery life you just mentioned) is a sign of needless background processes running all the time (sometimes for unknown reasons), namely the Windows Defender real-time protection and the search index. These two take a huge hit at your Laptop performance because they consume the full CPU 4Ghz oftentimes which of course triggers the fans. The solution to this is disabling all the services you don't need (and trust me there are plenty), then making sure you limit or regulate the maximum CPU consumption at a threshold of 3,2 Ghz. There are plenty of tutorials that show you how to do that and it's very easy. After doing this you'll rarely ever hear any fan sound, otherwise you'll always complain about it no matter which brand you choose to get.
I can't back up the technicalities of what he said ^ but I do own a Yoga 920 as well and it has never given me issues in the last two years and definitely no fan/heating issues.
