We had a tough day getting started in a few of our favorite creeks. We need rain badly, so all of the spots were super low and the trout were all very skittish. So we decided to pack up and drive about an hour to some bigger water, and although it started slow, I liked what I saw!

This looks like some central Arkansas water.
Some beautiful stretch of river that’s for sure! We need some rain though.
Great video dude.May i ask what fishing line do you use? i would like to try braid line 12-15 lb straight to the lure, have you ever try it?do you think it will work or spook the trouts? keep up with good vid!!!!
I’ve never used braid for trout.. I use 8lb P-Line tactical fluorocarbon. Braid would last longer but I believe 100% that in these smaller waters that are clear, braid would spook the trout.
I appreciate you checking it out though! 🔥🙏🏼🤙🏼
What rod, reel, and line are u using?
Hey pal. Sorry for the late response. Work has been busy recently.
However, the rod is a 2 piece St. Croix Trout series, 6’9 medium light. The reel is a shimano vanford, size 2000. The line is 8lb P-Line tactical fluorocarbon. I love the combo!
what rod and real you are using? thanks
The rod is a 6’9 st croix trout series, medium lite. The reel is a 2000 size shimano vanford. My favorite trout combo to date especially for a little bit larger water and when you need some extra backbone for bigger fish, while still being able to fish finesse.
A few videos ago I did a showcase on the rapala countdown, and briefly talked about the rod.
