or "lets go" or " sick" or "bro". Lets go bro, its so sick dude. No worries bro, Ill just tear my ears off... or maybe just watch on mute. Either way, looks like a good time ;)
Thank you very much!! That is an extremely kind comment and I appreciate it a ton. I couldn't have done any of that trip without Devin, all the thanks goes to him and his fishing prowess haha!!
My wife and I are looking at an Alaskan cruise next August 2024. One of the excursions from Sitka is a day fly fishing in the Tongass National Forest. I currently live on the east coast of Canada and have caught some atlantic salmon and steelhead (we call rainbow trout). Watching your guys adventure puts butterflies in my stomach, just the beauty alone is enough. I can’t wait and it’s still over a year away
You are going to have an absolutely fantastic time. It is such a special and unique place. It really changed my perspective on fishing as a whole. Enjoy!! And I am very jealous of your Atlantic Salmon haha!! That seems like an absolute blast!
@@FlyAddict_Fishing wish I could share pictures but if you ever get a chance the Miramichi river in New Brunswick Canada is one of Canada’s best Atlantic Salmon rivers. Sadly it’s highly restricted to guides, and a lot of trolling off the back of a canoe. I hooked 6 in 3 hours and what a fight. Cape Breton, Bras Dor lakes are famous for huge Rainbow trout also. If you’re ever in eastern canada please give me a shout and I’ll join you, there DUDE!!! Lolol
Great video. I have been waiting for someone to make a decent video of my home waters. There is still a ton of streams left for you to explore on the island and even more remote boat in only streams that would blow your mind. If you make it back up this way, give me a shout if you want to see something different or want to try some of the insane saltwater action we have up here. Keep up the great work. I have enjoyed all your videos. Kris
Thank you very much! I know haha!! I was road bound this trip, but knowing the sheer number of steelhead streams in that area is absolutely mind boggling and I'm sure people like you have such a great understanding of them and the hard to reach ones. I'm very jealous you get to live in such a special place haha! I also really appreciate the offer and will definitely keep that in mind!!
Another great job, Braeden! Not that you need it, but in case you ever want another lens or two, I am game for a road (or air) trip 😎 Keep up the GREAT vid's, Dude! LOL
What line were you using for nymphing with the bobber? Looking to get something new. Love the video! Had me smiling a lot especially the first one you landed on the swing.
Man seems like such a beautiful place to fish. I don’t understand why you wanted to leave so bad?? Especially in the middle of fighting a steelhead??!🤦🏻♂️

In 1978 I started my guiding fishing & Hunting then in 1989 I moved to Alaska to advance my guide services working the Kenai then the Susitna & Yentna drainages then moved over to Glennallen to work the Gulkana R & Klutina R & Copper River. When covid came and the travel bans put me out of business, and I got stranded in Oregon with no way to get home to Alaska then went bankrupt. In the fall of 2019, I left Alaska with jet boat to do a rebuild on it in my Oregon shop and to attend the trade shows to get new clients for summer in Alaska of 2020 but that never happened because of covid. I worked Ketchikan in 2013 and 2014 with it was the worst Salmon fishing in Alaska I had very seen. The evil non-Resident commercial fishing had destroyed the Salmon runs where the only salmon left would be hanging around the fish hatchery in Ketchikan. I wish I could have gone to investigate the steelhead fishing when I lived in Ketchikan. With the country set to be destroyed by communism from the communist democrats I don't know if I will ever get to go back to Alaska because the way it is now in the US I am thinking to move back to Romania where I have years of living and restarting the Atlantic salmon guiding in Ireland and try the Baltics for Atlantic salmon also.
What river is that? looks like it was close to Ketchikan, are there alot of walkin access? what were you using? are you nymphing with a 2 hander? appreciate some info man, great video, i cant wait to go there!!
If I had a quarter for every time I said "dude" in this video, I might be able to afford another trip back up to AK next spring. Thanks for watching!

Sweet video man, looks like an awesome trip!
Thanks, I really appreciate it! It was a fun time seeing some really unique country for sure.
Great adventure! suscribed 🐟
Excellently filmed and edited, keep at it, you do nice work and seem like a nice guy, you will have a ton of followers sooner than you think..
Thanks Dave, that means a bunch!
I'd love to fish Las Craigas and the POW for steelhead. I only ever go up there for the salt activity.
Good work! Well put together! New sub right here!
Just another day here in southeast Alaska. Real simple!
Steelhead my dream 😎

Nice

If your friend is looking for more friends, let me know...
Great work, how did you get a permit to fly your drone in the National Forrest?
Thanks! Everything I've read is national parks are a no-go but national forests are generally ok to fly in. Including the Tongass.
@@FlyAddict_Fishing That’s awesome, I love that place I’m planning on going back hopefully next spring for the run!
Random question are you native or part native? Great videos man.
Is that Jeff Lebowski?
poor kelts...let them mend

What size rod and reel for steel head?
Dude! 😂😂😂
Its weird he kept filming the other dude and not the actual fish being caught 😆
What is that net?
Let’s find a new way to celebrate instead of “let’s go “….
My best steelhead and salmon days in Alaska guiding and Washington personally ALWAYS HIGH WATER...this tool doesn't understand fish lol
Evrytime someone’s says “let’s go!”……I turn I stop watching 😆
please stop saying lets go all the time. Its the most annoying thing to hear over and over. You're not a mumble rapping tween. Grow up please.
