This was actually super helpful! Just started trout fishing in South East Idaho and am learning the ropes👍🏼 Thanks for sharing your thoughts and process!
i would use 10 lb braid and a 2-3 ft piece of flourocarbon 6-10 lb.Braid will cast further more feel .Great video i know where your at congtats on not saying exactly where you fished.
Great video and nice fish! Especially with those bigger fish, try not to keep them out of the water if not necessary and give them a minute in the water to recover before releasing them. Otherwise nice work!
I say get a cheaper rod and a nicer reel. In my experience you can do a lot with a cheap rod, as long as the reel is in decent shape. I would also forego a lot of the extra tools. Start with just a rod/reel, handful of lures and a cheap landing net. Then build from there
Honestly, I just look on google maps and try out new bridges in the area. There are so many trout in the rivers I don't see a point to say what exact spot. Head north a bit and find a river. Tight lines!
@@FishingCircleI'm curious too. It's not about wanting to use the exact same spots, it's more about how cool it is to know exactly where a cool video was shot.
I almost never do. I have at times, but usually I feel like it messes up the presentation. If I need something heavier, I'll elect to get a heavier spoon or spinner. For me, 1/4 oz lures work well even in heavy current. Hope this helps!
Bought my first pole today and got my fishing license, thank you for your video
Awesome! Make sure to check out the other fishing playlists on my channel for tons of content. Good luck!

Super helpful! How should a nube on a tight budget gear up?

i’m around the rexburg area looking for new spots to fish since i’ve been fishing the same spot for a month now. what river/dam is this?

Do you use any weights with your lures??

Careful if you eat the fish out there they have weird black dots on them
Thanks for the heads up. Also, love your account name. That is an awesome show. Tight lines!
Do you ever take a fish home? You and your wife could always make a fish cake! A fish cake! Haha!
I do but usually only if I catch a good sized rainbow. She should make a fish cake ;)
@@FishingCircle You should hit American Falls damn in the summertime, every rainbow there is a monster fish.
Where at ??
Snake river north of rexburg
Great video and nice looking fish, thumbs up and greetings from New Zealand, check out our trout fishing videos.
Thanks, will do!
What dam is that?
Don’t recognize that dam. Hmm?
Nice but plz don't advertise Idaho
