I have two Waldhoffs, the Multimatic I and the Brandenburg, and while I enjoy them both, I can't see making the stretch to $1700 for this watch. Especially when this movement can be had in much less expensive watches. Waldhoff are good products, but not great and this is just a little too much for this level of finish.
I believe that Walhoff has a bunch of discount codes that reduce the price on this to around 1200 but I might be wrong on that. I own the Ultramatic and it's a spectacular design.
