Finishing additional notes. In further handling, I also noticed several smudges or watermarks on the 3 o'clock subdial ring along with more uneven milling chamfers on other parts. Hopefully this is just a bad sample as the finish is disappointing, especially at the price point.

Just gotten my Waldhoff Quantum in the other day. I've seen the brand do the rounds on Facebook groups and the likes, but always thought they were a little chunky and with too busy dials.
The Quantum is a really modern clean take and comes with a twin barrell tourbillon skeletonized movement and sapphire all around (incl. the case sides). That's like Jacob & Co kind stuff. And it didn't even come out all that chunky. And with something like a 1000 bucks off on KS pre-order, that's a whole lotta watch for not thát much money (relatively; it is still the most expensive and the only 1000+ watch in my collection (after having sold my Ball Watch Co. 00RED)).

That's awesome to read it came out well! The design intrigued me too, though I didn't snag one. I love the sapphire case incorporation. Thanks for sharing your feedback. Cheers

A tourbillon is of course something, which catches the eye, no doubt.
However, perusing through their catalogue, I'm more partial to the Multimatic II Emerald.
I live in Denmark, approx. 6 hours car ride away from Berlin, but their shipping time is still 45 days regardless.
I see what they're going for aesthetically, and beautiful it is, but the two glaring mistakes which should have been picked up by by quality control, and which you rightfully point out, really do make me pause. If they somehow refined that case, perhaps it would have a broader appeal?
As always, thanks for the review JT. Always appreciated!

I'm partial to the Multimatic over the Ultramatic as well, after experiencing both. That review is finished up too and will be coming up in a few days. The QC on this one was hopefully a fluke (I found some other items too, added in a comment), but I definitely understand it giving pause. The finishing does seem to be better on the other two I received. My pleasure! Thanks for your support 🥂

I'm interested in the Ultramatic Limited. How inaccurate is the time over 24 hrs?

Sorry, I don't have a timegrapher and didn't manually record regulation on the sample. Without a running second, it would be tough to track.

I wondered what happened to this brand. I'm glad they dumbed down the design details a tad, however, the price still doesn't match the brand. I get it's a tourbillon, but it's still a recreated knockoff movement with little to no backing. The lume imo tells all. Review was spot on, nice work.

Thank you very much! Yeah, I was left pretty disappointed at the total package for the price point 🫤 Cheers

Hello! As this is not a sport watch, we did not put wide and deep luminous indices on it, hence it is a low less bright than our dive watches (Seawolf, Atlas GMT). The intensity of luminous indices depends on the surface of the index; the luminous we use is identical. Pricewise, we are one of the cheapest, lowest margin tourbillon brands out there, and I invite you to compare with other brands which offer a solid 2 year warranty. Cheers.

Did you expect dive watch lume on a classic tourbillon?

Not sure what you’d expect as it’s a genuine tourbillon, well built, sapphire crystal for an extremely low price. As far as budget tourbillions go I’d have to say its one of if not the nicest looking. There’s no other way to enjoy an in-house tourbillion unless you pay $10k plus…

It's built to a PRICE! Certainly you won't get Patek quality at this level. I think it's lovely for the budget.

I respectfully disagree that obvious finish imperfections across the dial (not macro level) are in keeping with the price point. I've reviewed countless watches at well under $1k without these defects. That said, I do hope it was isolated issues with this sample. Cheers
