On its own your brain immediately goes "wait, that's not fruit!" So I'd treat it more like a vegetable or a condiment at that point. Add it to meats, savory dishes etc. That's where I'd experiment with pickled fruits
Loved your video-Just curious if you did a taste test video of the different items you pickled. Very nice, I must say I’m kind of shocked with the dried plums, but I have some of those and I’m going to try it.👍😄
It's coming up soon. We've had a busy summer but it's on the schedule. I'm also researching the best dishes to incorporate each pickle product and make it interesting.
This title and this method has energy I can relate to.
Great video. Vegetables, brine and a guest appearance. What a great video.

@@littleme3597 completely true. He'll probably burn the house down one day.
Mmm I love homemade pickles! I us the same brine recipe as you. I’ve never tried pickling fruit though. That’s really interesting!

Love them all!!!
Dried pickled plums = pickled prunes interesting for sure.
Lol yup. Salty and tangy and you realize you've never had that flavor before.
How long do they last in fridge. ?
If you keep them sealed, around 10 weeks. If you opened the jars, I'd say around 3- 4 weeks.
