Love them.... I have the 17 inch for my traveller and have the 22 inch for at our main camp.....the newer 17 has the rear drip tray and the newer fancy igniter knob.... ! I sometimes use a wind blocker too to keep the breeze out if im in the open and not in my kitchen tent.... I don't have the hood on either of mine - I like to flip my grill over to store it and keep any critters off of it.......Cheers!.

I currently use the older model built into my Toy Hauler. However, I’m a Camp Chef fan personally and love their modular stoves. It’s just too much to drag the big P90X around all the time so I was looking to pick up one of their Versatop 2X stoves, which also fit the camp chef 16 inch accessories (they also make a smaller Blackstone equivalent). What I found was that Camp Chef for whatever strange reason never got Canadian compliance done on their table top products so you have to pick them up in the states and bring them back across.
On a side note the Blackstone does fit the Camp Chef 14” accessories so we use the Camp Chef BBQ box on our Blackstone for things we don’t want to griddle, works great.

it looks like the one with the removable cover also has the gaps covered between the bottom and top pieces??? .... Awesome review!
