    Great video; it's good to know you don't need a 26' boat with all the fancy equipment to troll for walleye!

    Thanks for the vid but you should take a look at the Luhr Jensen Trolling Diver Depth Guide. Luhr Jensen makes both the dipsy and jet. A #40 jet diver as per the luhr Jensen chart reaches a depth of 32' with 125' of line out. I use jets also but I wondered if it was a tally at 40' since our boat caught nothing and the other boat using down riggers did very well. The down riggers were at 42'. Both boats using worm harnesses. I looked online and there was the chart. Now I own 2 down riggers and stopped guessing at how deep my jet actually was. To say the least I was disappointed with the jets in the end. Great video and as long as your catching fish that's all that matters in the end.

      @archerjay1  9 месяцев назад

      Thank you, yeah I have used jets for a long time, I can definitely get more depth specific with dipseys, but I use braid for my rods, which in turn uses less line to reach my desired depth for dipseys but get closer to my actual depth with jets. It's kind of a double edged sword in the end. Yeah catching fish is the main goal for sure, and there are so many variables that can go into trolling it can make ya go crazy if you let it...hahaha. thanks again for watching and I hope I could be of some help for those that are begining or maybe just learned a new trick. Tight lines and keep the cooler full 👍

      Sure brother! Once you get the hang of it they r pretty nice...I really do prefer jet divers, but dipsey's can be very affective.
