Want to learn exactly how RUclips pioneer Casey Neistat makes his movies?
In his exclusive online class on Studio, he shares his entire, start-to-finish creative process on camera, as he creates a brand new movie from scratch, right in front of you.
Along the way, he explains everything he’s doing and thinking in detail - every idea, decision, tool, and technique.
You'll learn exactly how Casey make movies firsthand, from how he comes up with his initial ideas all the way through filming, editing, and sharing the final movies.
I think coming up with ideas isn't that difficult actually. Invite your best friends to come up with some ideas and I bet you'll come up with some really good ones.
Casey is different because he makes these ideas happen. Mainly talking about when he made videos every day, taking that, turning it into something and putting it on RUclips, every single day, thats the real gold.
you cant replicate casey's mind and skills as a filmmaker no matter how you learn it - he's a unique dude with a unique persona and unique background and life :)
The creativity in this is just inspiring
Such an awesome video. Very inspiring.
Me encantaría estar dentro de mente de Casey...❤
I have not watched the video yet but YES- Ideas are EVERYWHERE.! (but you have to be open to seeing them...:^)
This viseo is sooooo underated
He is walking around like Picasso
I don't know why you make something public that many of us had to pay for. Good for the people, bad for the Studio
You paid for this!? Sheeeesh
To plug the course and show the value of it, so they make money
How about a story of immigration invasion of New York City.
OR maybe why a person would buy a counterfeit bag in NYC. Do they have a date they need to impress? Do they have a business appointment they need to close a deal? Do they have a vain desire to fulfill? Do they need to make the right impression before being granted access to a secure location so they can commit a crime or right a wrong or save a life or stop something awful? Don’t just ask “what’s that all about?” But also ask “why?”
This is gold, can you post more parts
He's such a genius when it comes to story telling and coming up with stories out of "nothing"
04:50 - ...is that the reason for all the "Bill, Billy, Billy" shirts in past vids?
Nah, Billy! is the name of hiw wife's company.
How can this video be so unpopular lol
OR, you could go in and talk to Billy and find out why he needs help despite the fact he has the best ‘box cake’ around. What happened? Is he in deep with the wrong people? Is his place haunted? Does the plumbing not work? Does he act like a jerk to customers despite the quality of his food? We had a NYC deli lady here in Orlando with the best tasting subs but she was dislike because she had a gruff NY accent and attitude with a line out the door. “Don’t know what you want?” She would say. “then get to the back of the line. NEXT.”
New York noise right when I type it
"I have a ton of ideas and they all boil down to New York is noisy"
Casey's got a Tarantino disease
👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
All the stories and ideas are the same ME ME ME ..and they could all have the same title .. WTF Why did I come back to New York
🥱
you’re a hater
yeah ! but,, the first example for example.. when he comes up with this idea of the building...
grat but... how you turn that into a , lets say, 10 minutes video ? like... what happens in the middle
I think thats where creativity kicks in.
He's not a "filmmaker" and he does not make "movies". He makes youtube videos. Know the difference.
I would love to hear you debate that position with Roberto Rossellini and François Truffaut. They would tear you apart.
Sure bro whatever you say
@@halmedrano With fkn whom?? Exactly.
@@brucewayne4371 If Martin Scoresesse is a filmmaker, then this wacko is NOT a filmmaker
You can have any opinion you want but you’re discussing filmmaking and you’ve really never heard of Roberto Rosselini? Italian Neorealism? Look it up and then tell me if you don’t see parallels with Neistat.
Redefining a medium always attracts haters, I suppose.
