I’m adding a little variety into this pilates full-body workout with a routine that is half standing and half on the mat!
We move back and forth between standing pilates and more traditional mat pilates to keep the routine fresh and engaging.
This pilates class will work the whole body and include core work, strength and stability, control, mobility, flexibility and balance.
This workout is suitable for beginners and intermediates. Enjoy and let me know what you think in the comments below!

Yay!! So glad to hear!! Whenever I do standing/balancing work, I'm always sweating like crazy too - lol! There's so much focus and balance work involved, it's deceiving!

That was great, thanks! I love your classes. I have a question. My sister-in-law gave me some ankle weights and I'm not really sure what to do with them. Can I use them for pilates? They're 1.5kg each.
Yes, you can definitely use ankle weights! They would be perfect for the side-lying leg series, bridging where we do single leg work, and also great for hip mobility work (lying on your back with your pelvis propped up on a foam roller or block, legs in the air, and doing variations of leg lowers, circles, bicycles, etc.). Have fun with them!
