Hi, thanks for the video. I have connected the Samsung Q700d soundbar with my LG TV through digital optical cable. I am unable to control the volume of the soundbar with TV remote. Is it because of the optical connection? Do I have to use HDMI for this? Will the soundbar work better with a Samsung TV? Thanks
I have just bought q800d connected to TCL smart tv via Bluetooth, sound always ahead of video and I could not find any sync function that adjust video & sound on this soundbar. Does anyone know how to do it , because I can't see any sync button on remote neither audio synch option in the soundbar menu. Cheers
I have one model q800b. Same sound with q800c back in 2023. I boght q800b for 16k php (us$286) while the 2023 model q800c costs 33k php (us$589). The presentation was good both have the same sound and power. So paid the cheaper. Dunno power and sound of q800d if same with q800c or not. What i noticed is its not like Q800b and q800c both are black in color while q800d is somewhat gray and a touch of black
Do you feel the sound quality for movies is similar or better than Sonos arc + Sonos sub ? Really trying to decide between the 2, Sonos is expensive though
I have the EXACT same question!!! I bought the sonos beam 2 without sub and it was weak. I returned it because with sub the price is too high. So I wonder if 800D will outperform it. Please reply!
@@RobertHristov I bought it, actually the q800d is great! Dolby atmos movies you can hear the different sounds clearly and also dialogues are very clear and strong. I bought it from amazon uk for 450£ and so far I’m very happy about it. Maybe the only thing I don’t like is the Samsung app, not great and maybe Sonos app is better, but on the other side I use it only to enable night mode in the evening to reduce the loud sounds (and it works great). Give a go mate
I am looking to purchase this soundbar, I was wondering if you could advise me on where to place the subwoofer? Room is 18 feet x 12 feet, there are two 3 seater settees and one arm chair with a lamp and set of tables. Tv is angled in a corner on a tv stand, arm chair to left of tv, one settee along one 18 foot wall and other settee along back 12 foot wall. TV is LG Oled 55" C4 Not sure where to place subwoofer?

To use the volume buttons using the tv controller, u have to connect the sound bar via hdmi arc/eARC to the tv
So it doesnt contain an hdmi cable for the earc connection?
It does. Even tío the bar only shows arc, the TV saya earc

it's also there if you press the cog symbol on the remote. keep pressing til it says sync on the display. then use the up and down buttons to adjust
