Mine is great. Works simply great and the coffee was too strong, not weak. I never have to move it so the weight is not an issue. Had to adjust to the weak setting to get what I wanted. It also depends on which beans you use for the coffee strength and flavor but thats the same for any maker.

BTW the parts do not have to be cleaned by hand. I put them in the dishwasher each night for 5 years and they are fine as the instructions indicated. I had the glass pot which I also added to the dishwasher. I don't think the thermal one would be as dishwasher safe.

Wtf. Whats the purpose of this video? Video review should show us how long it takes to make 6 cup of coffee, the noise level of grinder, how difficult to disassemble the machine, how to clean the machine, difficulties of using program menu, and etc. He just read of specs of this machine except last part where water fill up difficulty issue. I have not read his detailed review on cnet however this is Very disappointed VIDEO review. Ask Brian Cooley, which should be on video review and which should left at full detailed review.

Not only is this review rubbish its misleading. All the bits and bobs are dishwasher safe so no need to handwash. Also the coffee is easily strong enough for filter. If you want espresso strength then get a machine that does that.

It's heavy? I won't buy it then because I ALWAYS take my coffee machine everywhere I go and I totally do NOT just leave it on the countertop. #sarcasm

OK, I don't do $200 weak coffee makers......EVER! My current Cuisinart circa 2011 ($100) is a traditional grinder/brewer and it can handle the most expensive and cheapest brands without that flaccid taste.
