Timmy is an average kid who no one understands, except for his pink and green inanimate objects that he talks to like a psycho. If you watched Nickelodeon at all during the early 2000’s, The Fairly OddParents was basically guaranteed to be on your TV at some point. The show follows Timmy Turner, a 10-year-old kid who leads a pretty miserable life, but is also granted a pair of fairy godparents who have the power to grant his every wish, provided it fits within Da Rules. But in a world of fairy magic… Who are the most noble… and who are truly evil?

@@rainbow4516 Seasonal rot doesn't do Homer's character any justice. There's tons of evidence that Homer cares about his kids. He might not always be the best role model of a father, but Homer gave up his dream job, left Marge because he felt he wasn't good enough for her, gave up an air conditioner to get Lisa her sax, stop Bart from jumping off that cliff he was about to skate board off of. I do agree that Homer is selfish a little stupid and makes bad decisions, so he's not always the best role model, but people who hardly care about their kids don't sacrifice that kind of stuff for them. He just lacks what's the word....

Also their cruelty comes from incompetence rather than malice. They do truly love Timmy and try to provide well for him.
Jorgon kind of changed as the series went on. In the beginning he indeed was a complete jerk but later on he became more of a lawful neutral. Protecting the order and the peace of fairyworld by any means necessary.

Another thing that redeems Crocker just a tiny little bit, is that we know he’s capable of being good. We see that in his childhood and also in one futuristc episode where he is a buff janitor. There are probably some timelines where he’s a decent person. The man has issues and needs therapy, but probably can be fixed.
Vicky on the other hand is the devil incarnate. She’s evil and sadistic with no reason, and is completly irredeemeble. There’s not a single drop of goodness in her. She breaks the yinyang. Lol

In one episode Timmy was so tired of her torment, he wished her to be five so he could torment her instead ... which he did until the end when he did something nice to try and make up for it. However, what if Cosmo/Wanda, in a stupid accident, didn't just de-age Vicky, but temporarily banished her, bringing her five-year-old self forward in time to be tormented? What if Timmy's torment led to her torment of Timmy and the other kids? She was actually pretty cute and not mean as a five-year-old in that as I can recall... though it's been like 20 years since I saw that, LOL!

I always kind of forgave timmy for making all those selfish wishes because, be honest, what ten year old wouldn't? Nobody's perfect and with the home life Timmy has, it makes sense to me that most of his wishes would be to have fun.
Exactly And people rush to antagonize him over something so small and harmless, it just don't make sense its like he broke a law or commited a sin or something thats what always got me mad when they say he should be in the grey area.

Yeah, seems accurate. Something I was surprised that was not brought up about Trixie was the fact that The Big Superhero Wish made her a hero and not a villain, meaning she should be on the higher part of the morality scale.
I remember that episode! I don’t think any of those appearances were too significant to really bring her up any considering her normal behaviors except if you wanted to place her above Dinkleberg as the first member of the Grey Area. I do think she was properly placed at the end of the day though. She has her goods and bads, so high end of the Grey Area makes sense. Plus, she’s 9th place out of 27, which is usually pretty good.

Honestly, I believe that Tootie may have had fairies once, but she was unable to keep the secret due to revealing the fairies before the fairies could explain why she couldn't tell anyone about them. It is most probable that Tootie perhaps did not even get to make her first wish.
This has been suggested time and time again. Honestly, its a dumb, unfulfilling explanation, that doesn't solve the problems the character faces.
This one was actually pretty well done! My only nitpick is not having Sanjay, Elmer, Veronica, Tad, & Chad mentioned, but they could fall under Timmy's friends and Trixie, respectively. Also the order seems very weird to me.
Edit for other characters I remembered: Cupid, Dr. Rip Studwell, Mr. Bickles, the Tooth Fairy, Imaginery Gary, Blonda, Officer Shallow Grave, Principal Waxoplax, Mandie.

Chip was one of my favorite characters in the show because on top of being a cool guy he depicts some actual singers pretty well. Not all of them do it for attention or cash. Some just do it because they love to and they turn out to be very friendly. Years ago I got the chance to meet a band that I like and they treated my family and I like we were already friends. While not all celebrities are like this, it’s cool to see that some are.
I remember that episode when Timmy actually lost his god parents because Norm used Chester. I looked everywhere I could for Fairy Idol since it was the episode continuing from it but all I found was Give Me The Wand.
Give Norm some credit, he did team up with Timmy because he was fed up with Mr. Crocker if anyone remembers that episode, then again that's not saying much isn't it?
Timmys parents would probably be the parents who get old and wonder why their son is leaving them to die in a retirement home
I personally wanna swap rankings with Mr. Crocker and Francis. While Denzel may be a egotistical teacher who fails his students and despises everyone on Earth, his cruel nature still isn't entirely his own fault. His immense belief in faries causes his to do things that people would find both annoying and crazy, thus young Denzel got harassed by everyone around him. Crocker became a bully because he was bullied as a child, Francis however is a whole different story. Francis has been a bully his whole life, nothing ever happened in his childhood to him wanting to go as far from stealing from stores to down right physical violence, he enjoys the suffering of others and the power and respect he receives as an output. The only reason he isn't the most evil character on the show is because Vicky is simply just too sinister to be out matched in terms of negative mortality.
But where is my boy Imaginary Gary? or The Darkness? Good list, but I felt they were pretty glaring omissions
Imaginary Gary would be in the bad, and The Darkness would be 3rd or 2nd Most Evil.

I’m honestly kind of surprised characters like Cupid and imaginary Gary who I know were only in a few episodes but in my mind still did some things significant enough to be in the list but 🤷♀️ I’d personally rank imaginary Gary pretty far into the evil tear and Cupid somewhere mid to upper gray area
When imaginary Gary was 5, he was nicer, but when he was shown as ten, he was very mean.

Also, Vicky is evil for no apparent reason. She doesn't have a tragic backstory or anything like that. Crocker, on the other hand, does. I think that makes his actions, while not excusable, certainly more understandable, and somewhat mitigates his guilt. Vicky has nothing like this to mitigate her guilt. She's rotten through and through.

Timmy could’ve been in the top of the grey section because of his disasters based on his misery despite having a good heart. At the end of Channel Chasers, he could’ve been free from Vicky at last, but chose to keep her to keep Cosmo and Wanda. That might be a dumb move. It was sweet that Timmy did it to keep the fairies he loved so much, but he could’ve had one less problem in his life, and he ended up continuing his selfish wishes to make her suffer no better than her.
It is understandable that Tootie never got promoted to main character and share Cosmo and Wanda with Timmy. Being a stocker she is, she’ll just use them to spy on his life. Still could’ve been better than Chloe.
If Trixie kept her tomboyish side and show more of it. That way Trixie could’ve developed better from a spoiled popular princess.
I'm surprised Cupid and Geraldine Waxelplax (the principal) weren't ranked as they both appeared quite a bit. Also, i just want to state I like both Wanda and Cosmo. But the way they are remember the most didn't come about until a couple seasons in. Cosmo, while simple minded and spacey, was fully competent as a fairy, husband, God-parent, and an adult when the show started. Wanda was certainly smarter and in charge. But she was more caring, less nagging, and a sweeter wife at the start of the show.

I never realized it before but I guess Chester and AJ were always a package deal. I can’t recall any episodes where one showed up and not the other. Wait no, I take that back. I can specifically remember an early episode focused on Timmy’s relationship to AJ although I can’t specifically recall an episode about Timmy and Chester but feel like there was at least one.

@WickedBinge; you forgot to list Ricky for the Bad-to-Evil tier, because in one way, what makes him worse than Vicky, is the fact that he took advantage of her feelings for him to steal her hard earned Babysitting money, at least that would've made him the most evil of the two of them if there had been no magic involved that led Vicky to becoming a Dictator in the "Wishified" future.
In the episode with Momma Cosma and Cupid; Mama Cosma had explained herself that her claims about hating Wanda was just her excuse to not let Cosmo be his own man, which is also why she baby's him all the time and also the reason why Cosmo is almost as child-like as his own fairy son Poof.
