So this is all about manpower calculation for Manufacturing department. What about other department, let us say quality department? We consider output as no. of parts inspected?
purushoth karunanithi we will do time study of the process, either with current allocated manpower or we can use 1 manpower for all processes. And calculate walking time & manual time of that operator for every process
Hi. If is still relevant. Week off, or sickness leave are usually incorporated in effeciency decreasing availability time. It is important to plan vacations, to not have majority people gone. Does this helped?

Offcourse, It required 3 Manpower in order to meet customer demand, But it is biggest waste to company. So as an engineer need to KAIZEN to reduce 0.1 manpower.

No dear cycle time is also include auto time...manual time + walking time is the time of operator only. Not machine or whole process

How to calculate requirement if i have cycle time?
If you know CT of each process CT, You can calculate Crew size= ( Sum of all process CT/Takt time)
