Just like several fellow EVer's below (or above), I have a controller that tests good at the mosfet's but does not work. First one was a sabvoton 72v150a that worked for a couple months then suddenly stoped, replaced with yuyang king 120v150a, worked for 10-15 min on test bench then suddenly stopped, before i even got to test ride, i was giving just a little throttle, it was spinning nice and smooth, and slow as it should, then.....nothing... No smoke, No spark, No zap, No smell, No heat/warmth anywhere, while still on test bench. Dont have another $300 to spend on yet another controller just to blow it up potentially. Also FYI when the controllers stopped working the throttle stopped getting 5v at red supply side wire and bluetooth function stopped working also supplied by 5v. So it seems to be an issue with specifically the 5v circuits of the controller. Is there a 5v step down transformer or something similar within the controller that could be the culprit? Let me know if anymore information is needed. You seem the only one i can turn to for guidance. It sounds like I'm not the only one, looks like it could possibly be a common perdicument , what could it be? Thank you for all your helpful content.
