- This video shows step by step instructions on how to replace the front and rear brake pads as well as how to flush the brake fluid. To see a more complete brake fluid flush using just a wrench, watch the following video I made for a RAV4 Toyota but the procedure is exactly the same.

thank you. just got my 1st merc. 02 e430 4matic sedan. its got 39025 miles. ive had it for about 200 miles. is a dream. just got the upgraded yellow track set from fcp euro. brand is ebc? this vid is gonna help a lot. thank you.
Hi, thanks. Glad to hear you got your 1st MB, and then, with such low mileage. You will love that car. I believe it has the M113 engine. So, a lot of the videos I have on the W220 S500 engine will equally apply to your car. Enjoy and congrats!
Briliant Sir!!! You are awsome!
Thanks.
First, thanks for the video. Second, a comment in terms of technique. I notice that you did not use any grease strategically on any part of this brake procedure specially where metal meets metal parts away from the pad surfaces - seems like a missed opportunity for a smooth brake system.
Hi Hooman, and thank you. I explain why I don't grease anything starting at 14:35 minute of the video. I never have on W210's following MB workshop manual instructions. Not needed.
@@masood-tv HI Thanks for pointing out the part about grease I clearly passed/skipped over :) . Makes me wonder why MB states no grease for the w210.. just seems odd..Is that because of dust accumulation w/ grease causes more issues than it resolves?
I am not exactly sure. New pads from MB and Bosch come pre-gressed where they touch the pistons at the backing plate. However, the W210s don't require grease at other touchpoints. Must be due to how they're engineered.
