I just heard of him a couple months back his vibe during a set in Tulum was really cool to see. Watching this video you can see the love which is how amazing music is made.
Yeah thats the technique for that sound, but when all these newbies try it out, its not gonna have the same THICC ass sound as his, and sounds so smooth with the percussion, kciks, side chain... SOO people are gonna have 800 million more questions, so then thats when he makes the longer tutorials, THEN it turns into all those other videos that you hate lol.
Yes! Finally a tutorial video that gets straight to the point. Please make more like this. Would love see stuff on laying down some drum grooves. Keep up the great work.
Holy shit. I can't believe I just found these. I would seriously love to see more of these tutorials. They're quick, fun, and very informative. John Summit, FTW.
it´s simply the best! way i ever saw someone is making a bass! so quick but i´m still impressed! thx man, i really appreciate your idea the way you pitch the end of the long bass tone for more expression. Sounds like the groove is getting alive and become way more enjoyable.
You should include that you added 2000 because it’s twin semitones if I’m not mistaken. And that would follow the scale. Can’t tell rookies to just add whatever cuz they’ll add 4500 and it would never hit the key they need lol. You’re a funny guy thought and glad to see you succeeding!!
I'd love to see a video on your bass processing! I'm curious as to why there's so much EQ'ing (with multiple EQ8's, Pro Q's and an Autofilter), and a limiter at the beginning of the chain. Great tip with the pitch bend btw
i'll do that one in a couple weeks! doing overall tech house tutorial next. i honestly overdid it with the eq's i just kept hearing this resonance freq and instead of subtracting more on one eq i just kept adding new ones lol
I'm thumbs-upping it and subscribing just because you didn't spend half the video telling me to like and subscribe. I can't believe somebody made a "How To" video under 2 min. Every other talking head video has a 1 min. intro, a 2 min. sponsor read, another 2 min. of totally superfluous B-roll, and then closes with 30 sec. of "Like and subscribe" and "Tell me what you think in the comments!"
Straight to the point with a big smile,
this man needs an Oscar for the "How to" video category
a very likable guy
Short and effective, it would be nice to see more in the channel :PPPP
definetely agree man
Couldn't agree more, more more more....ufts ufts ufts ufts
Man he’s a funny character, the way he jams to any bass line is just comedy!
His face at the end when the full track plays is everything. This man truly loves what he does and it shows in his music.

I just heard of him a couple months back his vibe during a set in Tulum was really cool to see. Watching this video you can see the love which is how amazing music is made.
This is how every single "How to make this sound" video is supposed to be like! Thank you so much, love the track!
Yeah thats the technique for that sound, but when all these newbies try it out, its not gonna have the same THICC ass sound as his, and sounds so smooth with the percussion, kciks, side chain... SOO people are gonna have 800 million more questions, so then thats when he makes the longer tutorials, THEN it turns into all those other videos that you hate lol.
exactly no talking for 5 minutes about some bs nobody cares about or asking for likes
@Julius Braydon scammers and spammers
EXACTLY - straight to the point, enough detail, bish bash bosh.
4 years later, still useful stuff! Thanks John!
Yes! Finally a tutorial video that gets straight to the point. Please make more like this. Would love see stuff on laying down some drum grooves. Keep up the great work.

I love how much you love the tunes you're making! It's all about that kick & bass :)
You are cool. I like this take on the notion of a rolling baseline. Super chill. Thank you for posting.

Starts the video with coffee mug and ends with a miller lite lol.

hahahahaha i didnt notice this. thats great.
I feel like hes physically flexing during the intro, while doing a good job of hiding the fact that he is in fact flexing for his intro
🤣
Awesome! Thanks for sharing!
such a nice short video! thank you!
