RUclips recommended me this for some reason (I'm born in the late 90s lol, maybe it's the dead mall/thrift videos idk), but the acting is really good, and a lot of the jokes are just "snappy" for lack of better word...I've watched too much 80's TV. I honestly think that adds to the comedy, in my opinion. The look and feel and tone feels so lighthearted and of the era, but then saying these ridiculous things - hahaha.
I was born in 1983 snd only have a few memories of the 80s. Although I never really experienced that time period since I also grew up and raised outside of the U.S., I find this very relaxing and oddly nostalgic. I just love the 80s aesthetic, music, and pop culture. This is well done and and love it!
I love that this is so spot on it just feels like the real thing just from a paralel universe where everyone is you, the attention to detail is mind blowing, incredible work!
What can I say? You have created as far as I can tell a whole new genre -some kind of nostalgic satire. The level of skill to recreate the look and feel of a time gone by is impressive.

At 22:18, that was a segment on Good Company, a show I used to watch as a kid! I don't remember their Olive Garden segment but I watched it a year ago on TCMediaNow! I can't believe how perfect this is. Man I miss the 80s... it was the last innocent decade.

It's hard to explain really but shows from older decades have a special feel to them and as a compliment, they make wonderful 'background tv' or 'relaxing tv'... even in a spoof or homage sense as your video does and I just hope for more. Like I have said before, I cannot stand "sterotypical" retro (i.e. neon costumes at Halloween, etc.). I try to make these video as authentic and realistic to the best of my ability. I think that is also where the humor comes into play. It's a lighthearted aesthetic, yet they are making off-the-wall comments (some painfully truthful), but it's played straight. i'm a little late watching this but man what a great show! this is so nostalgic. i know this the 1980s but i grew up in the early 90s and it still feels so familiar. i love all the commercial segments and attention to detail! it must have taken a lot of hard work and editing to do all these different segments. you did fantastic!

I’m awed at this video. I needed a mood pick me up, and this did the trick. The presentations are spot on. A lot of work went into this. This guy is a comedic genius.
Spoon gift response was funny and the pristine VHS tapes in the ad, I kept waiting for the telephone wire to catch that coca cola and have a mess all over the place. That McGuire guy made me nervous rolling up his sleeves and then totally creepy in the uncaring way he describes his services and those who use it. Yikes. The videos of daters was a trip because that was bad enough back then but it reminds me of how much worse I heard it got on the online dating sites where there was even less effort to communicate a diddly and guys just wanted smiles and likes and piddly pigeon talk to get dates for them.This has been so convincing I wondered if you had a lot of old tapes somewhere to be inspired by and then remembered that a ton of youtube is built from all those tapes of the past anyway. Well done!

i'm a little late watching this but man what a great show! this is so nostalgic. i know this the 1980s but i grew up in the early 90s and it still feels so familiar. i love all the commercial segments and attention to detail! it must have taken a lot of hard work and editing to do all these different segments. you did fantastic!

Spoon gift response was funny and the pristine VHS tapes in the ad, I kept waiting for the telephone wire to catch that coca cola and have a mess all over the place. That McGuire guy made me nervous rolling up his sleeves and then totally creepy in the uncaring way he describes his services and those who use it. Yikes. The videos of daters was a trip because that was bad enough back then but it reminds me of how much worse I heard it got on the online dating sites where there was even less effort to communicate a diddly and guys just wanted smiles and likes and piddly pigeon talk to get dates for them.This has been so convincing I wondered if you had a lot of old tapes somewhere to be inspired by and then remembered that a ton of youtube is built from all those tapes of the past anyway. Well done!
