I know this was over a year ago but you could also keep some ribbon to tie loosely around the puppy’s neck for identifying each puppy! Or they sell Velcro puppy collars that are meant for newborns so their not big and bulcky! Awesome video and I learned some things I need to keep in my kit too!

What dewormer do you give them every two weeks ? And how old are they when you start giving it to them? We have a litter right now that are 2 weeks old and unfortunately lost quite a few

Kk C I give Pyranel at 2, 4, & 8 weeks. At 6 weeks I do 4-5 days of Safe Guard. At 7 weeks old I take all puppies to the vet to be sure they are completely clear and healthy before they go to new homes. Any idea why you are losing pups?

Where can I get the pyranel? Does it have to come from a vet or can I get it at a feed store?

Kk C You can get it from the feed store, the vet, or most pet supply stores. It may have various brand names, just look at the active ingredient, it should say pyranel.

No idea why we lost some. It was weird, they were fine the first three days and then two got a rash on their bellies and started not eating as good and so we tried bottle feeding them and heating pad, and then they died. And then the next day the next pup started fading, no rash, and we tried the same with it, bottle feeding and heating pad, she passed. Then the next day, a little boy started fading, but he had two bumps on his stomach (looked like when you scratch a mosquito bite and it swells) and he had two seizures before he finally passed. It was the weirdest big! I've never had problems with litters before, so this was a new one on me. I read online that some breeders keep "sub-contanious fluids on hand and if they see a puppy starting to fade, they start injecting them with the fluids. I want to get some and keep it on hand for the next litter, just in case. I just don't know where to get that either. lol I'm going to ask my vet. Have you ever used that before to save fading puppies? Any advice for fading puppies??

You don't need all this lol
The mother takes care of everything. You just need to know how much too feed her, when Etc.
Just look out for signs shes could be in trouble.
      Too much blood.
      To long between puppies.
      Too much pain.
