I uploaded 400+ images that show in internal memory. On shuffle mode, only the same 20 or so go through rotation. Is there a way to put all images on shuffle?
I can’t see the photos unless my Denver Frame is plugged in. Doesn’t it charge the internal battery to view unplugged?
I hate when I see blurred borders. It distracts me from the picture. Do borders come in black?

I got one for Christmas and I LOVE it. I was going to get a SD card for more storage, but reading the comments, I'm not excited anymore about that😳
SD card will work if its no bigger than 32gb I'm guessing its a hardware or software restraint, most likely the people who couldn't use their sd cards were using ones too large or formatted incorrectly.

I would like to purchase a large digital frame. I have narrowed it down to Dragon touch 15 and Frameo, but open to other suggestions. Good resolution 1920 x1200 is very important, as well as ample storage. I would like to software to allow me to set up groups and or albums. I do not want to purchase a frame that will ultimately require a subscription. Can you kindly provide me with your thoughts? Thank you.
hi i have a denver 1021 and miss putting the pictures in folders and not being powered by batteries
I added the Frameo app and expected to be able to see the pictures on the app AND on the frame but can't. Am I only going to be able to see them on the frame itself? What am I missing?

My app won't let me even select a video to send. I've tried cutting the videos to only a few seconds or turning them into gifs, but I cannot figure out how to send a video 😢.

Have inserted the microSD card but cannot now remove it and cannot find how to display the photos that are on the card - the gallery shows only those photos on the built in card - otherwise am happy with this purchase!
Click on the frame, settings, manage photos. You will see your options

Tried copying about 3Gb of pics on an SD to the frameo .. Some pics are just 'cut off' (not talking about stretch vs fill here) vertically or horizontally .. the pics copied fine on the SD, but once they are on the frameo, they are basically 'crashing'. Played from external source, and tried moving them to the devices, same issue. Even tried 3 different SD cards. 80% displaying proprely, is just not good enough.
brand new out of the box and this frame doesn't power up. waiting on help desk to respond let's see how long before they respond
Sep 2022: I wish someone would better define "the cloud" service-end for Frameo. Most of the time it works, but when it doesn't there's no one to provide up-time status (other than "try restarting your app and/or the device". smh

I am having trouble connecting to the internet. I’ve sent 3 emails to them for support, but no luck with any help. I’ve reset the unit 3 times, but it did not work. Show the Wi-Fi, but can’t seem to connect to internet. What do you think I should try next? Thanks for your reply.
i have same issue with a 10.1" model, apparently it connected wifi once at another house(where the gift was received), but upon bringing home(where it will be used), it only detects my neighbors wifi, which is odd since i have multipe tv's and devices able to connect without fail.
part of me was thinking maybe the wifi antennae got damaged, but its seeing my neighbors so it does work in some capacity. haven't email support, because i know it won't help, combing forums and comments will always result in better understanding of the problem.

You can't use an SD card bigger than 32gb its a hardware constraint. There are many devices that have limits on memory size reading capabilities.
smaller frames seem to havea 32gb limit for sd cards, the 15.6 seem to support 64gb sd cards... also seems to be a discrepancy in advertised abilities and what the manuals claim.
My frameo has been on for two months and is now frozen on orange screen with three chasing dots and won't boot up. Tried everything, turning it on and off, unplugged and replaced, pushed reset button on back of frame, unplugged router and replaced. No help support out there. Several people have same issue and no one responded with an answer to help. Amazon is reaching out to company and will let me know if they can get another one or if they will refund my money. I would not buy this frame!! No technical support can be found anywhere. They done respond when you email them. The phone number listed was a private number.

I’ve got a few questions, hopefully you’ll have the answer :
- is it possible to manage the pictures remotely once sent ? For instance is it possible to remove a photo on the frame using the app ?
- is it possible to manage the way the notifications are shown ? For instance, remove them completely or configure them to appear for only a few seconds and limit the manual interactions with the frame ?
- is it possible to define an expiration time for photos so that they disappear after this duration ?

HELP!! my mom got this as a gift for my grandpa and she told me to move it upstairs so it wont brake, when I plugged it in upstairs it said “never unplug it while on” and now it just stays on that screen or give me sum recovery option, plz help before my mom gets home!!??
Nvm i just had to wait and eventually it all went back to normal
there is a glitch, that regardless of unplugging or turning off with power button properly, that this error message about turning off properly still appears and has to run through some recovery mode.
lots of glitches and bugs, too many so-called 'manufacturers' of these devices to point to any one 'brand', seems like all are using same hardware and just changing branding, probably because of the hit or miss quality.
the overwhelming positive reviews come from people who didn't pay for it, but received it free to review, reviews from paying customers seem much less positive overall. so it feels like the positive customer reviews are being padded by compensated reviewers.
Can you turn off the time and date notice at the bottom
I turned it off in notifications, it was listed as "hide captions"
My son bought me one but he added photos...when I wanted to add photos, its saying code has expired. And i dont know what to do. So seems like i dont own , he does
You should be able to click "add friends" and get another code for yourself. You can have as many new codes as you'd like, but HIS code is now expired. You can find friends info in the Settings tab. If, for whatever reason this fails, simply press/hold down the reset button (using a paper clip or pin) next to the power button. This will reset the entire frame and let you generate that original code again. Then, you use that code, and send it to your son as well.
"No photos found on external storage (r.g. microSD card) for import." I have tried several times, and it can not ever read the card. Other than that, it is a great gift.

I don't have the unit but what I've seen from a lot of foreign electronics is that they only accept cards up to 32 gb. What format are the pictures that you are trying to upload? Just hints not answers

I also tried plugging a 32gb usb to the back and NOTHING! Do I really need to connect this thing to my computer? They didn’t even supply a cable for that
there are constant problems with this frame. If not blur strap across the screen, then suddenly it stops working and has to be reset. Also loses wifi connection a lot. The app also sucks, adding new photos is not straightforward. It's expensive and should really work a lot better for the price.
Mine has stopped working altogether after about two months. About to figure out how to contact to see what I Can do about it.

Has anyone had success with downloading photos from the external HD card? I have hundreds of old photos which I put on the HD card and put it in but the device doesn't seem to recognize that it is in there...

it can only recognize up to a 32gb sd card formatted in Fat32 (most sd cards you get will come this way) also I don't think the sd card slot is specifically for uploading photos to it, the app is meant to be used to send photos to it from a phone remotely. I bought one of these a different brand same software and it worked pretty well, but I couldn't do the software update required for videos so I'm returning it and trying this one out.

You must allow full access to your camera roll. Go to your settings find the app and click on it, then click allow all photos. I hope this helps.

Can I turn the screen off while I'm out of town?
There’s a power button on the back, but then no one will be able to add pictures anymore of course. There does not seem to be a way to turn the screen off, while keeping the unit online.
Can you stop the slideshow and leave on one picture?
I sent 12 photos from my phone and it used up 2,45GB, only has 16gb left, that's not many photos.

The frame needs to be connected to the Internet all the time, otherwise it wouldn’t be able to just except incoming photos from friends. So, yes, it is always connected to Wi-Fi

Speech is extremely rapid. There is no mention of how to get photos onto frame without a phone since some do not have capability. Once in the frame, there's no mention of how to delete files not needed anymore showing in gallery. I'll stop here because I don't wish it to get too negative, but inquiring minds wish to know. 8-)

I don’t like mine. It has a power button on the back but it won’t power up without the unsightly chord. So I can’t put on the wall, or even a coffee table because of the darn chord. I had a frame like this years ago and I didn’t need the chord. Waste of money!

You know, RCA doesn't actually make electronics anymore... The RCA brand was sold to a company called "Voxx International" they also own several other consumer electronics brands and they even license the Energizer brand. We can't really tell who's actually designing and manufacturing products these days.

40 feet from the modem it drops wifi connection. Move it 25 feet from the modem it works ok. Wi-Fi on other devices gets shaky when this frame is connected. It has been an unpleasant buy.
my first experience with my 'wifi' picture frame, it will somehow see all the neighbors wifi but not mine... mind you, 4 tv's and numerous other devices are connecting without fail in the house. still haven't sorted it out.

I just got one, and am super disappointed that I Must keep it plugged in constantly! This is not convenient, and U see you can hang it in the wall if you choose, but would have thus unsightly cord going down the wall. 😮

I’ve used it for 15 minutes now, and I am strongly disappointed.
Indeed, like you state the app only allows uploading 10 pictures at a time.
When the slideshow is running, there is no way to pause it.
The transitions between the pictures or a simple very fast fade out fade in type transition, there are no choices between different types of transitions.
And, like you state, even when the slideshow is not running and you’re looking at one picture, there is no way to zoom in or out even though this is a multi touch screen.
The unit I got is probably a very cheap piece of hardware. The colors are completely washed out. My iPhone has way better colors.
I need to write a review for this thing, but honestly… If I had to pay for it I would send it back

The product has two minor disadvantages.
1) It is completely impossible to upload any stuff (image, video) to it.
2) It is too light to use it as a paper weight.
This frame is terrible , really hard to load the pictures …😢😅

It has a USB plug in but you can only use that to transfer pictures from a computer to the unit you cannot plug in a USB picture thing, lol, the thing that holds hundreds or thousands of pics, I wanted to do that so I can see the pictures on there you can only do that with SD card, is that correct?
Also, you can only send 10pics at a time... I was hoping I could sync w google photos at least folders and watch. Am i wrong?

so far its crap shoot, if you get decent hardware, many glitches reported.
