    What a neat video⁉️
I really enjoyed the "tour" of Santa Rosa NM. It looks like a cool little town, very clean too.
The Blue Hole looks like a great place to relax, cool off, & have fun.
Thanks Nica, this was great!! 👍🏼😎

Santa Rosa is Tucumcari without the PR department. Same style old route 66 towns with connections to it going way back. Santa Rosa has Joseph's instead of Del's in Tucumcari. Several motels in town both old Route places and newer, such as the usual chains like Holiday Inn Express and the likes. The Club Cafe was a Route 66 institution, it closed down several years ago. As the lady notes in this video there isn't really much in Santa Rosa. Its claim to fame is its connection to the Route. I've seen where the city has tried several times to develop and expand its outreach to attract tourists, but nothing has come of them. The Mayor and State Representative and his family (Campos) pretty much run the place. They also own Joseph's. I actually like Santa Rosa. I enjoy sitting in Joseph's on a lazy afternoon and just watching traffic go by on the old Route.
