When I filmed this, the SAG strike had not gone into effect (it did the very next day after filming) and as part of the stipulations of the strike I am not really allowed to post about any SAG projects..hence the lack of a link, but you guys are savy enough to figure out where to go. Keep after it.

You randomly popped in my head the other day. I used to watch your vids when you first started but fell off after some years.
When you first started skating in this video I thought you were an entirely different person. The ollies off kickers, ollies on transitions, 50-50s even the kickflip all very impressive. Cool to see the fruition of your progression. Condolences for your father.

Hey Ben. So after watching your vids for a few years I finally started skating again. My son is 7 and he just started a month ago. After a few weeks he wanted me to ride with him so we upgraded his crappy Walmart board to a full custom and I got one for myself. Then I took him to his first skatepark and he's loving it. I'm still feeling pretty sketchy but can do about a 6" ollie and ride up and down most of the various ramps.
That’s great dude, glad to hear you are back at it and get to share something so joyous with your son. Keep after it and don’t feel the need to push past your current limits. Just have fun and enjoy his love of it as well as your own.

Thanks dude. This was just an update though. I occasionally post clips to my instagram account but not returning to full videos on youtube. Maybe I need to do some youtube shorts though.
My condolences. I too lost my dad when I was 20 years old, he was only 50. Been 8 years now and I still miss him dearly. Toughest thing I've ever had to deal with. I've learned to be more grateful with the time I have now with my mom and little sister. I show them how much I love them every single day, just like how I should have for my dad. I'm very sorry.

Hey man, thanks so much. Things are good. Still skating on a regular basis and getting out to the skatepark. Currently traveling for the end of summer vacation in Quebec and Montreal in Canada. We drove and I brought my board so I am hoping to check out a park or two up here if time allows. Be well my dude and keep after it.

Thanks man, i certainly did. Even if i don't get tot he skatepark itself, i skate through the streets of my neighborhood about once a day for 40 minutes. Helps with my board control and confidence.

Cool that you are still skating! 👍 The boneless out the kicker looked smooth and you got a couple of good kickflips! For me stationary kickflips are more difficult than rolling ones. It's something about the balance that feels more natural when rolling. Keep it up Ben! 👏
