i remember on the broadcast they showed the difference between the filter and natural lighting. was crazy how dark it was.
This video ROCKS!! Who ever produced this is a genius and true visionary.
One the best and most dramatic final round of a major in this century
This is stupid. A Monday finish at major is the worst thing of all time. Sure Rory forced officials to let him play up but everyone had to finish in time.
I love that the crux of this drama is apparently “Phil could’ve said ‘no’ but he wasn’t confident enough”
That last line is ice cold
When players curse themselves
i was there, it was one of the best days of my life, absolute great day! It was wilddd, atmosphere was electric. Pure Valhalla!
Soft generation says, “Rory had made so many mean comments…”
When you’re in a business where that much is at stake, it ain’t about feelings. Grow up.
I don’t really care about mean comments, this just seems like a cheap way to win a major to me. Feels like the rules committee should’ve stood their ground a bit more
Can't help but see the irony in that being his last major.
Yes it was extremely unfair to fowler and mickelson
That's not irony
@@jthindramatic irony
@@byronmillet2989 no! Traumatic irony!
no every hole at?
Let RIB COOK
This is just a golf ripoff of a Secret Base “Rewinder” video, yes? Sorry, heavily inspired?
These sound weird without LKD 😂
The level of saltiness in america is extraordinary
Put Ian Poulter in the group in front. Let's see how that goes.
Idk Rory IMO is the best player of the last decade (yeah even without Majors). Or atleast ball striker (ATM Scottie is THE N1 by far) anyways he often has great great rounds prior Major but on Majors has meltowns or only plays so he makes cuts..that Masters leaved him scars or only showed what was about to start because speaking golf-for years he was just dominating and had pace for 20 Majors even in 2014...but something psyhiological is in his head very obviously, what that is IDK-nobody knows
I'm now more convinced than ever that he cursed himself that night. Maybe his return to Valhalla breaks it, what say the Viking spirits?
First this year is his year
What they should have done was make them play as a foursome. That would have been the most sensible thing. I think both Phil and Ricky would have agreed to that.
Divorce
never liked ROORS ... and never knew this is how he won that weekend...
Just another example of Rory getting special treatment, if someone tried that at any public course there would be a fight.
Except this was a major championship not a public golf course. What a stupid comment
Relax. The fact is that he didn't do it on a public course on a Saturday per se. It was a major on a Sunday. It's in the best interest of TV networks, the sponsors as well as fans in attendance and TV to finish on Sunday.
A fight 😂
Comparing the final two groups in the final round of a major to amateurs playing at a public course is hilarious
It’s the Sunday of a major championship why would you compare it to a public course lol
Much ado about nothing. Sure, it wasn’t typical. But let’s not manufacture drama 10 years later when everyone’s over it. Good grief.
imho bad decision by officials. unfair advantage given on a silver platter
Of course establishment Golf would keep going on about a decade old win, of course, its one of their PGA pets.
Rory had made so many mean comments about other players over the last couple of years. Some people celebrate when he fails to win yet another major.
Mean comments? No.
Rory has been rather vocal in his criticism towards the LIV tour and there have been several conflicts involving him and other players.
Now even Rory admits he has gone a bit to far and has said "I can’t judge people for making that decision. So, if I regret anything, it was probably being too judgmental at the start."
To pick out one example where he crossed the line of decency. "The best thing to happen to the 2023 Euro Ryder cup [sic] team was Henrik going to LIV!", taunting Stenson for losing the job as captain for the Ryder Cup team. I find that mean.
Okay. But you wrote he made “so many” over the “last couple years.” Much of what was said about LIV players was reasonable, even if you don’t agree. It is not mean to call out public people for their behavior. And citing a single instance of “mean” comments does not support your original claim
