Yes! I've been learning the leads on this, This calling, and The air that i breathe, and all of the tabs on UG have been wrong/ has weird finger placement on the neck.
I absolutely love All That Remains but get so frustrated trying to play a lot of Ollie's riffs! There are so many little chops that come so quickly you can barely hear them but being a guitar player I know they're there so if I'm gonna play the song I gotta get those as well.
This is incredible. So coming from someone with no playtime or real experience(didnt even know what TABS were, still dont know the acronym) from one watch I understood it as finger placement on the frets, the numbers being the frets, lower being further up on the the neck. Strings represent top down, larger to smaller string on the guitar. Each little section is a snapshot of where your fingers need to be. Differnt numbers online with one another are notes played simultaneously? May be missing some parts that's just my interpretation afterwards.
its just short for tablature. its a method of scribing notes for guitarists in a more simple method for quicker learning instead of actual sheet music.
2:42 I have a question, I played this slow and it looks and sounds like sweeping 17-15-14-12,14. I’m trying to learn it and got to this part and didn’t hear or see you hit the 16th fret while sweeping down so was just wondering.
@@MrYkt111 Awesome man, I looked up another version of the solo with tabs and it was almost the same but it was 16-14-15 Thanks for the quick response.
They way i found a stroke to play the main riff was to kinda bounce your pick as you come up instead of stiffening your wrist or fore arm. Helps so you can have that relaxed wrist motion start slow and pick up a speed and pattern
Great technique. U're playing so clean... it's rare. As a rule there is a great mess of sounds, and here I mean different noises made by chaotic playing. I hope u understand what I mean
oh...I can only give it to you as a pdf file due to a problem with the application that makes the tab, is that okay? www.dropbox.com/s/3emob29f37vaeln/tw.pdf?dl=0
Song is tuned to Standard C# tuning for those who are curious.

Maybe I made a mistake when I created the tab!lol
So I think the sound you are hearing is correct, not the tab.
