Nearly a year back Steve from Gamers Nexus did a full Walmart review on a $600 low-budget branded PC. This PC specification claims to come with an additional 1 GB hard drive and 16GB of mems none of this thing turned out to be true. The case was falling apart and the wiring was bending the MB connectors. No GPU, but came with a wannabe GPU.

Yes. I out parts on Newegg for less than $500 for the RX 580/ 5500 system, and just over $600 for a 5600/6600 system.

Hell I bought a pre-built from Walmart w/ a 3700x, rtx 2060S, 500gb ssd, 1tb HDD, asus b450 mb, 16gb 3200mhz ram for $712 out the door that included a kb&m in 2020. Maybe I just got lucky.
Wow. $700 could buy you a gaming laptop in the USA. In Australia I can get a 11th gen, 512gb SSD, 16GB RAM laptop for that price, integrated graphics only though. Dedicated GPU laptops start about $1500 in Australia ($900 usd)

Plug the usb drive into a port on the motherboard when installing windows and not the front panel. That usually works for me when I have this problem. The front panel usb is usually on a different controller.
We did try this, sadly didn’t work
The Problem is that motherboard is such cheap pile of crap that is can't boot into windows. They preloaded windows in bulk then an Didn't properly check it.

4th gen intel boards did in fact support m.2 drives. Usually they were Z97 boards though. I have a few of them laying around. Dont see why they couldnt just add support on a H81 chipset though. They sell chinese X79 boards with m.2 support and they work flawlessly....
zach's tech turf has an ITX pc build that had a H81 mobo that's white and also supports M.2 slot

Been building PCs for over 25 years (Full time builder) I personally would use another PC to install windows, and move the drive into this PC, to at least test it for benchmarks , then return it in your situation

Looks like it is a Soyo motherboard. Their motherboards are usually decent. As for the issue with the computer, the "DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL" error is often caused by RAM. I would recommend replacing both sticks of the RAM and see if that fixes it.

In the BIOS change the SATA Mode from AHCI Mode to RAID Mode. Save and exit. Try it 👍

looking at that BIOS/UEFI screen you can tell there's been minimum effort for this board, its looks more like legacy BIOS rather than UEFI, seems it wasn't their NVMe integration though if it didn't work with sata drive, feels like a memory issue.

I had an MSI z97 Gaming 5 board that actually has an m.2 slot on it. It only ran at pcie gen 2x2 or sata tho, but they do exist.
Mostly in the Asian market Amd called it "Rx 580 2048sp" like how the" RX590 GME" situation
Id get a 570 if it is cheaper... mine does 1350MHz vs the 580 at 1360, mem 2000 no problem.

the z97 chipset from the haswell era did actually support m.2 nvme drives albeit at reduced speeds i have two from msi with the m.2 slot and can confirm they do indeed work
Or, seeing they use chinesium mobo, the bios has been modded to support m2

That webcam has a tripod mount fitting in the base, not something you see on a lot of webcams.

Which did you install windows? Rufus or windows media installation tool? Rufus didn’t work for me but the media creation tool worked for a build I did but Rufus worked for me on a while another build. Idk why.

Was the SATA controller enabled in BIOS? Sometimes the port can be disabled causing it to not show up or be detected. Just wondering if that was the reason why!

It has to be that. I bought the same PC off of Amazon and didn’t mess with the insides other than removing the protective foam and it works just fine. I didn’t try to install Windows on it myself either lol.
If it says sold by Walmart then you can bring it back to the store if it says sold by another company your out of luck

You could build this PC yourself for less than 400, maybe 350, this PC should not be sold for over 500 bucks.

this was my first desktop before building my own. honestly a 2004 alien ware is better.

i just went threw this with a cyber power system for 3 months for my birthday Christmas now with my cut i guess no new pc they did give me a refund and where honest
the water cooler was bad and the i9 was running for aweek at about 100c and then it started blue screening and never worked i RMA it and all teh tech did was slap anew cooler on it
and load up windows 11 with zero updates so soon as it starts to update or anything it blue screens for now we have to move soon and my dad is sick and i am unsure of whats gonna happen so no pc i guess maybe later
