Wow, the myth vs the lie. I have to listen to this again. I feel it, I did all the right things and was seriously disappointed on so many levels... made me mad that I spent all this time striving just to be treated like the thing I attempting to avoid by getting a fancy degree. People don't care of you have a degree or well accomplished, they see your skin color and then act like you don't belong. It is hurtful.

I agree with 98% of what she says. But I think she had a doctor/ hospital of incompetence. I've encountered so many bad doctors. We must be forceful. I just yelled at a doctor last week to refer us to a neurologist because my mom has dementia, and he never recommended. And he was attitudinal. All women must advocate for ourselves, forcefully if we must.

I am a woman, with a PhD, who has worked in biomedical science for 40 years. I receive the same sort of treatment she discusses

immediately had to listen to interview twice. Absolutely excellent. Legal system, I'd go on the witness stand to testify how terrible a problem. I apologize, however fortunate I've been, because I never have had issue with the Medical system. You're right about faith... astounding
