I have been canning the last few days depending on what's on sale at the store 😅 A friend gave me blue berries so this morning I put up 10 jelly jars yesterday 14 quarts of my ground beef vegetable soup. I really enjoyed listening to you and your words of wisdom. I was raised in a home where we canned just about everything. We had a large pantry to feed a large family. I have my own pantry now and enjoy the relaxation of canning and sharing. Have a wonderful relaxing day. GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME.

I do dump soups with a theme. Three cans of Chef boy mini ravioli, three cans of spagettios with meat balls, two cans of drained znd rinsed canelli beans, one large jar of spagetti with chucky meat sauce, 8 oz of fresh mushrooms cleaned and sliced, Red and green pepper diced about half a cup mixed with a table spoon of minced garlic and atablespoon of italian seasoning. Some sliced cooked italian sausage. Can use plant based Gardein Brand. Allow to low simmer together.
I don’t have those big containers that you’re putting your jars in. Can I use an electric canner ? but what do I set my court jars on and the paint jars if they make pints?
@@karenosche5348 I have never used an electric canner before, so I don't know. You could make quarts or pints. It's all your preference. I tend to like pints for soup. You will have to read the manual for your canner to see what it can do. Be so blessed.

Your soup looks great.
Your taco soup is very similar to my taco casserole. I dump a couple of jars into a dish and cover with cheese bake at 400 for 20 minutes.

I didn't really follow a recipe, I just kind of throw things in a pot.

I would process for 90 minutes.
Do you have to use those kind of pans or can I just use the old kind with the or do I have to use that kind that you have

Isn't it recommended to add some citric acid if your using tomatoes in your canning, or does the brown sugar take care of that issue?

What was the size can of tomotes that was used ? Would you beable to provide the approx. amount of spices and seasoning used please
It was a number 10 can of tomatoes, and spices I just eyeball it.
