- ICICLE AREA -
Now make sure everybody has a double growth Rune Armlet armour equipped, then slot Enemy Lure x 2 and the EXP Plus x 1 materia in Cloud’s armour and this will always remain on him for the whole of this farming coming up. Make sure Cait Sith is the 3rd character (bottom) and slot the Pre-Emptive x 2 materia in his armour and these will always remain on him for the whole of this farming process, similar to Cloud. Then slot the HP PLUS x 6 materia amongst any free double growth slots if they are not maxed out.
For this limit break farming, we will always keep Cloud (1st) and Cait Sith (3rd) in the party and will rotate only the 2nd character out when needed to work on another member's limit break levels.
You will also always have the Mega All x 1 materia, a strong weapon and a Fury Ring accessory equipped on the character that you are currently farming the limit break level with. This way you can always kill all the enemies quickly and finish the battle. Also be sure the character you’re currently farming with has their strongest weapon equipped unless it isn't dealing much damage due to a special characteristic. In which case, equip the next strongest weapon.
Once ready, head south into Corel Valley, then continue south along the bendy path to reach the 2nd screen where you will see an open chest and a hollow trunk.
- COREL VALLEY -
This screen is where the farming will take place because it will almost always trigger an encounter with 4 or 5 enemies, they will die quickly and give a lot of EXP and AP. To farm, you will keep running around at the fork just below the north entrance to trigger battles and the character you're working on should kill the enemies immediately due to the Fury Ring and the Mega All materia.
You will need to get a certain amount of kills to unlock the next level and use the default limit break in that level a certain amount of times to unlock the 2nd limit break for that level. You will need to unequip the Fury Ring when you need to use limit breaks, then equip again afterwards. Most characters have 2 limit breaks per level except for Cait Sith and Vincent, so you can just focus on kills for them. The level 4 limit break is learnt by using a specific item so you only need to unlock every limit break except for the level 4 limit break which will be done later.
For a quick breakdown, Cloud and Cait Sith want the equipment mentioned above and they will never change. You will only change out the 2nd character (by going back to the world map) and you need to unlock every limit break during this farm except for level 4. Finally, make sure the 2nd character always has the Fury Ring accessory and the Mega All materia along with a strong weapon.
Remember to manually change limit break levels via the menu when you have learnt all the limit breaks for the current level.
When ready, begin farming the limit breaks, the requirements to unlock each limit break are listed below for each character.
Cloud.
Level 1 - Braver - Default.
Level 1 - Cross-slash - Use braver x 8.
Level 2 - Blade Beam - Kill 120 enemies.
Level 2 - Climhazzard - Use blade beam x 7.
Level 3 - Meteorain - Kill 320 enemies.
Level 3 - Finishing Touch - Use meteorain x 6.
Level 4 - Omnislash - Use the Omnislash item.
Barret.
Level 1 - Big Shot - Default.
Level 1 - Mindblow - Use big shot x 9.
Level 2 - Grenade Bomb - Kill 80 enemies.
Level 2 - Hammerblow - Use grenade bomb x 8.
Level 3 - Satellite Beam - Kill 160 enemies.
Level 3 - Angermax - Use satellite beam x 6.
Level 4 - Catastrophe - Use the Catastrophe item.
Cait Sith.
Level 1 - Dice - Default.
Level 2 - Slots - Kill 40 enemies.
Tifa.
Level 1 - Beat Rush - Default.
Level 1 - Somersault - Use limit break x 9.
Level 2 - Waterkick - Kill 95 enemies.
Level 2 - Meteodrive - Use limit break x 7.
Level 3 - Dolphin Blow - Kill 190 enemies.
Level 3 - Meteor Strike - Use limit break x 6.
Level 4 - Final Heaven - Use the Final Heaven item.
Red XIII.
Level 1 - Sled Fang - Default.
Level 1 - Lunatic High - Use sled fang x 8.
Level 2 - Blood Fang - Kill 72 enemies.
Level 2 - Stardust Ray - Use blood fang x 7.
Level 3 - Howling Moon - Kill 144 enemies.
Level 3 - Earth Rave - Use howling moon x 6.
Level 4 - Cosmo Memory - Use the Cosmo Memory item.
Yuffie.
Level 1 - Greased Lightning - Default.
Level 1 - Clear Tranquil - Use greased lightning x 8.
Level 2 - Landscaper - Kill 60 enemies.
Level 2 - Bloodfest - Use landscaper x 7.
Level 3 - Gauntlet - Kill 120 enemies.
Level 3 - Doom of the Living - Use gauntlet x 6.
Level 4 - All Creation - Use the All Creation item.
Vincent.
Level 1 - Galian Beast - Default.
Level 2 - Death Gigas - Kill 40 enemies.

Yea it saves a lot of messing about with the build, at the same time though, the Cait Sith slots takes a bit of practise itself. I just hope im right in gauging that this is overall easier than all that prepping
