To be honest 5 Series are just all round better cars, better experience, engines, torque than the 3's. I have owned 2 - 5 series (535 and 530) and 2 - 3 series. I always preferred the feel, experience, steering, acceleration, handling of my 5's. EVerything about the 5 is better in the line up, including looks. The only other cars, that look good from bmw at the moment are the i8, and 2 series is nice. They change the look so often it's hard to find consistency other than the 5 Series, is my point. Always great looking, and makes you feel you did well in and out of the car. 5 is the magic number for me. Good choice Matt! I love the new M5, it's awesome!!! I can only afford the 530i, but I am happy with her. IF I ever can afford it a 2022 M5 would be my daily and dream car. I would even love to be burried in it. lol

@@Alby911 the fact you can get the Mrs two kids a dog and luggage for a week away in Europe in the M5 would sway most, I would pay to watch someone get all that in a 911 turbo 😂 Like you say it’s personal, the Taycan wouldn’t be an option for me due to being electric and too restricting on where you can go, and the Panamera is just butt ugly. And Bentleys are far too ostentatious, also a different league when it comes to running costs.
I think M5 CS looks so much better in Frozen BrandsHatch grey or Frozen green. The facelift M5 also looks softer and less aggressive than the pre-faceloft model. But it looks cleaner and more elegant

I’ve owned many Porsches with and without Carbon Ceramic Brakes (PCCB) and I absolutely believe they are better in EVERY braking event, whether it’s one hard stop or 20 hard stops. Plus pedal feel is better, response more immediate, and as a bonus.... little to no brake dust. I too have heard people say there’s no difference and they aren’t worth the money (unless you track your car 🤦🏻♂️) but that is complete crap
Every reviewer says the M5-CS is amazing, but I would still say it is underrated. It's literally an 'affordable' supercar with supercar-performance but very practical & amazing looks. Maybe in some ways the 911 (992) Turbo S is the king of ICE-speed, but this thing is just as fast (tailing only by mere micro-seconds) and much more practical & cheaper (forget hypercars bcoz they are just untouchable+impractical+non-utility artpieces for vanity). M5-CS, the king of cars for me. Imagine if this was GTR-modded. So happy for Mat.

I’ve owned many Porsches with and without Carbon Ceramic Brakes (PCCB) and I absolutely believe they are better in EVERY braking event, whether it’s one hard stop or 20 hard stops. Plus pedal feel is better, response more immediate, and as a bonus.... little to no brake dust. I too have heard people say there’s no difference and they aren’t worth the money (unless you track your car 🤦🏻♂️) but that is complete crap

M3 nicer exterior design overall - plus the green looks so good!!! However grill looks better and more traditional on the M5 🙌🏼
The only advantage I see for your old M3 is the color. I love that green! Of course, the M3 also has an advantage on price.

Every reviewer says the M5-CS is amazing, but I would still say it is underrated. It's literally an 'affordable' supercar with supercar-performance but very practical & amazing looks. Maybe in some ways the 911 (992) Turbo S is the king of ICE-speed, but this thing is just as fast (tailing only by mere micro-seconds) and much more practical & cheaper (forget hypercars bcoz they are just untouchable+impractical+non-utility artpieces for vanity). M5-CS, the king of cars for me. Imagine if this was GTR-modded. So happy for Mat.
I've seen all your videos on this car, as well as some from others who do a lot of driving and reviewing of high performance cars. You all have come to the same conclusion about it. Soooo, that means of course, that you made an excellent choice for what is now your daily driver and fun machine. I must admit, that I am, at the moment, a bit envious. Nice!!!

My father bought a 530e of this generation, and I fell in love with it. Such a great car. Can't imagine how good the M5 CS must be...
So many journalists and car enthusiasts have said the M5 CS is on another level - would love to own one but probably never shall.
Love the bronze accents on M5 , but M3 looks more modern and in that colour I prefer it , and that’s a whole lot of spare money you can enjoy .

The M5 CS comp is one of the best M cars in the market at the moment so definitely an amazing choice
