  • Update!!!!!! 1/24/24 The ground side of the trans break needs to go to ground also one side of the trans break button needs to go to ground!!!!!! They do not need to be wired together they should both go to ground. This is how I wired the S10 trans brake and bump buttons. I got the diagram from the sloppy wiki. This is not the only way to wire this up but it’s how I did it.

I think I have it Bo. You have to choose or confirm whatever that input wire does. I was confused on that. Everything working off of ground. Makes ya wonder why you have that option. Great video

I've talked to you about this several times. First I was having issues with brake staying on until ground unhooked.. I've git it wired exactly like this. Except my blue input is used. On my button side. I've got 2 post. One is going to ssr other leg has my ground and input on it. It should be other way around if I'm correct. It's working. But it don't seem right. I've tried 3 different ssr. One I'm using now looks like yours

I don't know how to pm you on here. I'd give you my # and ill pay you to help me. It's gonna be simple. It's almost gotta be ssr. I think. I'm not sure. I'm ase certified. I've looked at many wiring diagrams. I know your probably having a hard time understanding what I'm saying. I'll confuse ya

@hoeswayCVF90 I can show you how I have it set up now. I use a dome sensor and air boost control. Before I just had a 4 port wired to my output and used raw duty to control boost.

If you don't confirm it. It just a blank non working wire

So one more question. So obviously the ssr switches it from ground to a hot correct? If not. I'm still confused. Cause I have no hot wires going to trbake

    • @BoWhiteRacing
      @BoWhiteRacing  Год назад +1

You need to have 12v on leg 2 & 3 on the ssr leg 1 goes to your trans brake solenoid. This gives you 12v to the trans brake then you use the ground to trigger it. All the ssr does it give it 12v. Are you trying to do a bump button also?

@@BoWhiteRacing I've got everything just as you just described. However. I still have to have ground at my button for it to work. Which is not correct. That's what I'm chasing. Almost like holley is not sending ground

Is this putting all of your solenoid current through the ground in the ecu?

I’m looking back now to see how I had it wired. I think the coil was wired to ground and not to the button. I think I mixed my diagram up. I will figure out what way I wired it and fix the video or remove it and make a new one. Thank you.

Yes I was wrong in the video. Here is the link to the video and how I have it wired. The only thing that changed is the trans brake is grounded and the trans brake button is grounded. They do not tie together. ruclips.net/video/Yz8AmD455XI/видео.htmlsi=pxILc1gf8rDDAeYg

Mine wired per the sloppy page, test ssr with multimeter pin 1 on ssr shows 11.7v, connect transbrake soleniod test it now only has 6v and voltage drops away
    Any ideas?

    • @BoWhiteRacing

Let me look at mine and see what mine has. Maybe try removing the ground on the T-brake solenoid and see if the voltage comes back on pin #1. Let me know what you find.

Should I try earth it at trans?

    • @BoWhiteRacing

Where does your ground for the solenoid go? Does it go to the Holley? If you ground the solenoid and give the other side power does it click then?
