ONCE YOU DECIDE ON A NEW MOTOR MAKE A VIDEO OF BUILDING IT AND THE BRAKE DOWN OF WHAT YOU USING!!!!!
Man Bo, sorry to hear about the misfortune of the block cracking. They say everything happens for a reason and like you said you’ll shed some weight going with an aluminum block. I’m sure you will flip this into a positive and find one in no time.
Thank you I sure hope so. I’m looking now. Might just get an iron block for right this min then start building an aluminum block for it.
Gen 4 aluminum block 388 would be good setup Thick cylinder walls good cubic inches for stock block
This isn’t stock firewall location is it?
@@darksideperformance299 no it’s moved back 6”.
sorry to hear about your block busting.......just to let you know i have a gen 4 5.3 al block if you need one
@@mikeday852 can you send me some pics of it.
Hope you bounce back even better hate your block let loose on you
Thank you. I’m going to try and it a block this week and get it swapped.
Where can i find a dash like that
@@ShaunDobbs-i9l give me a day or so and I’ll get back with you. It came with the truck so trying to find where they got it.
Sorry to hear that i had a block crack on me like that .
ls2 or ls3 6.0 would be the ticket or if wanted you could look into RHS blocks
Gen 4 lc9
Comments off on your latest video. I messaged you on FB about an LC9 i have that would be a perfect fit for this after the block cracked.
So which valve you recommended 3 or 4 port
@@tyferguson564 both work fine. Iv used both. I like the 4 port cause you can make more boost. But both work.
Is this a 2 speed powerglide
Yes.
@@BoWhiteRacing what's top speed u can go ? I just put a 2 speed 350 in my mc SS think it can handle a 5.3 LS
@crucial1443 it depends on your rear gear ratio, tire size and rpm of the engine minus converter slip. Below is a site you can use to find out how fast it would go. www.wallaceracing.com/Calculators.htm
@BoWhiteRacing everything else is stock, ok thanks
3.73.1 ratio
what you doing for an alternator?
@@beatyb21 don’t have one. Have a 16 volt system.
@BoWhiteRacing right on i have a motor plate twin turbo 72 c10 I'm building and trying to figure out how I'm gonna do my alternator setup and crank pulley setup to run off that
When you heading to the track
@@matthewstupalsky3203 soon as the weather gets nice and the track opens up. Everything is ready.
Damn that’s a perfect combo build very nice 😎
Update?
Yea I welded 2 44mm wastegate to the housing.
Can I sent my S10 and let you build it?
Where’d you get that dash? I just got a 91 c10 looking to make my 1/4 mile car.
It was with the truck when I got it but here is the link. featherlitecomposites.com/products/gen-1-s-10-dash
Do the crossover pipe at the converter, doit affects the trans temperature?
I didn’t have any issues with it.
My God, man I’ve watched every build video on this machine that you have put out. It is so clean. I’m stressing out about my single turbo 53 in my square body lol ,but this thing looks like an animal, though congrats and super clean build.
@@nathankrug111 oh trust me I stress out about it also. But it’s work it. Thank you so much.
Very clean she's gonna be wicked
Great job Bo! Like I’ve said from the beginning, your attention to detail is next level. No doubt I’m sure the truck is gonna perform great. Awesome work brother.
That's looks spicy 😮
Very nice truck super clean it looks fast on the two step can’t wait to see you make some pass.
Do you build trucks for customers? Your work is clean man I’d love for you to build me a S10!
@@teondrickreeder8691 Iv only ever built trucks for myself. I do some turbo kits here and there.
That looks very clean !👌🏻
Badass brother ..!!
Awesome work !!!
Good to see it coming together Bo! Keep us updated bro!
Looking awesome man, nice work! Can't wait to see it making passes.
Awsome , been waiting
About to drop an update video.

Sounds match the looks! 🔥
I love when a plan come together nice work truck sounds great can’t wait for first drive
Part number?
truck is really looking good nice craftsmanship something to be proud of....
@@mikeday852 thanks Mike how your car doing?
What rad u using
@@YoungerPrice www.summitracing.com/parts/gri-2-58185-x Here the link.
@@BoWhiteRacing nice I'm running the summit one but don't seem to be cooling it enough
@@YoungerPrice mine got up to around 202 just at idle for 20 min. What pressure is your rad cap? I had a 16 psi but it would get hot so I went to a 24 psi. Also I’m thinking of doing a fan shroud they help a lot.
@@BoWhiteRacing mine is a 16 psi,I guess having a front mount isn't the best either also with these smaller rads were limited to fan selection,
Awesome! Can't wait! Your definitely ahead of me now. Mine has a little more involved though.
Looks good nice job and you sound young great work
Moi j aime bc ❤😅
Le ls super v8 que vous disait sans histoire à bon ❤😊
Such a clean setup can't wait to see it rolling
i wanna get you on DBW one day, its magic
I’m down to try it. Just never messed with it.
@@BoWhiteRacing the benefits are incredible with a little bit of learning, but you can do a much cleaner easier install imo and swap throttles in 1 minute, you can change the stop point and throttle curve, use it with the software for say, traction control or other control factors to close it, if you can crimp the tyco connectors and whatnot yourself, wich it looks like you are judging by the wiring and the dominator already, connectors from monkey fab are approx 40$ shipped and then i use 6/18 wire from amazon for the pedal and throttle run its in a black pvc thick shield so its oil and gas resistant, i have actually been crimping them for friends because the holley one is like 250 plus
@@BoWhiteRacing lmk if you wanna i could help you get your feet wet
@@BoWhiteRacing also sorry to write so much, a ton of the stock throttles are 84mm factory and basically free. so thats a positive. otherwise things like snake eater 92 and 102 work flawlessly
@@SloppyMechanics this is the first time Iv used a Holley dominator. The last 2 time I used the Holly terminator X. I’d like to play with it. Iv seen you do it and it seems like it runs well. And don’t worry about writing to much I enjoy the conversation.
i like the cut of your jib
Looking and sounding good Bo!
Damn got so much room for activities in the bed! Might as well put the rad in the rear haha. Any idea on the front rear weight bias?
@@buiItnotbought it’s 55% on the nose with no weight in the rear.
That's pretty good. I always wanted to build a square body s10 and put everything in the bed. One day
Yea I was going to put the rad in the back but I’m going to do some sticky track racing with it so don’t need as much weight in the back.
It’s my dream to build something like this and just take my old man for a cruise in it 😢 brings a tear to my eye thinking about it
