Thanks, Greg for standing up for LARD (and calling out the unhealthy VEGETABLE OIL)! 2 thumbs up! :-)

Thank you for your hard work again Greg! Wonderful video and good to support our own local businesses. I'm not sure what the Sarawakians would say about your comments though 😅

Thanks and kudos for highlighting the unhealthiness of vegetable oils. Might I also add in the poisonous effects of Transfat as well especially in things like margarine. Many people I speak to do not believe me. Thanks for shedding some light on this important issue that is already a big thing in other countries but in Singapore we seem to be glossing over it.

The first thing about Sarawak laksa..is you need to squeeze the lime first....

Looks like authentic Sarawak Laksa to me.
The MeeHoon looks similar, not too thin.
    Obviously can't taste it.
However, never seen prawns with tails on,
    Imagine getting your fingers-licking-good!
Interesting to see lattuce leaves in Kolo Mee.
What happened to blanching Choy Sum?

Red and white kolo mee is the right ones. The black sauce kolo mee is never authentic Sarawak kolo mee style but rather a modified flavour for those who only used to eating Wanton mee style. If you go to Sarawak, locals will look at you weird for having black sauce kolo mee.

You look at the care and attention paid to the laksa soup alone, at half the price for the rubbish burger I paid for in Australia as my very late night dinner last night, and you literally cry. Why anyone in SE Asia eats McCrap and Kentucky Fried Rubbish when your local hawker center has food like this on offer is completely beyond me.

Been reading lots of comments from lots Singaporeans that prices have risen tremendously in hawker centres. If this is the case, it deters visitors as Singapore is already an expensive City. Countries like Australia, NZ, Malaysia, etc, already have their excellent food courts so with increased prices in Singapore hawker centres, it will not be so attractive for visitors from eg UK, etc, as well. Pity.

Wahlao! Come or no come to SG if hawker food too pricey? Correct or not? Most foreign visitors don’t come to eat in Hawker centres only… they go fast food lah…

So inflation is a global problem or just Singapore’s problem? Sorry, I don’t know what is your point?
