I am from Hong Kong and my mother-in-law is from Singapore. I love all the food in this video! I make the black chicken soup myself from time to time. Usually I just use the body part of the chicken to make the soup and save the chicken thighs and wings for steaming. I love the texture of black chickens. Very tasty and nutritious!
Singapore is my favorite food city in the world! I have been there many times, to that same food court, and, I am drooling. My fav is roasted duck and roasted pork. YUM YUM! Glad to see the food stalls are back up and going so well and FINALLY the Covid restrictions are lifted. My daughter will be there in 2 days. LUCKY HER! Please, visit Indonesia and Jakarta again.....they really would love to have more Foodies visit. I live in Jakarta and we welcome you! YES, you have to get there ASAP after they open...because once sold out, they close.

I ate at that Hawker center. OMG it was sooooo good. I literally had to go back to hotel to nap. It was soo humid & hot but the food & cleanliness of Singapore is top knotch. I strongly recommend everyone visit.
Amazing! I would be so overwhelmed by the huge amount of choices in this one place alone, and to think there are so many more Hawker Centres!! Singapore is definitely on my Bucket list for a Foodie trip!

My suggestion, go little india in the morning. Soak in the color and vibrant of mini india and had lunch there. After that visit Arab street for the Muslim temple and nice Middle East food. Remember to try the monster milo drink that’s a soul drink for people who like sweet stuff. Night time travel to Joo Chiat and start from the beginning of the street to the end. You could stop at any one pub in the middle of the street. And travel to katong. Try the local laksa or nonya food.

Happy to see you tried all my dishes from the stall too 😍 Love how the creaminess of the dan dan noodles contrasts with the tartness of the sichuan wantons, then top it off with the slight sweetness of the xiao long bao If you every go back, the guo tie (pot stickers) is really good as well, you can use it to soak up the sichuan wanton sauce

Do you honestly think Singaporean food is better than Malaysia's ?? I'm not trying to degrade your food but I was in SG for a week and I've tried your so called delicacies and its no where close to our standard . Aside from your chili crab and probably chicken rice, non of your food standard can match ours such as your Pan Mee, Mamak food, CKT , Hokkien mee and many more. You just can beat us when it comes to food .
Every year, before heading to Manila I always have a day or two stopover in Singapore just to eat. Laksa, lor mee, hokkien mee, char kway teo, tai hwa pork noodles, hainanese chicken, putu piring, and many many many many more! Best place in the world to eat! I’m coming back in November for more!
