I would love to be able to copy and paste elements. So you can build quickly a stage with prolyte deck stages. Also it would be great to speed up te workflow.
How do you use decimal points when creating forms? I'm trying to reconstruct a club stage in a visualiser and it is 9.5 meters wide. But decimals only work with trusses in the visualiser, not forms like cubes. If I try to write a dot it does nothing, only commas show. But when the number contains comma, the objects basically turns that value into zero.
I figured it out. For those just getting started like me, it took me loading MagicQ Vis to figure it out. The Stage in the demo show file is just a FORM object that is renamed. Sadly, once you create a FORM object you can't resize it. Also, you can "attach" other objects to it (like a drumkit) but if you move the stage, the drumkit does NOT move with it. So it looks like you can attach objects to a form, but it didn't seem to really be attached.
@@jeffstammler4439 Thanks for this - we've raised the not being able to go back and change the form size once created (unless loading in MagicVis) with our Dev team to investigate further.
would be nice to be able to use the visualizer on an actual QQ console, for example if it gets implemented and hosted in the remote control app on PC and possibly mobile version.
Unfortunately the QQ consoles do not have the GPU to support use of the vis onboard, MagicVis is not currently available for Tablets. You can network a QuickQ consoe to a PC and run the free Vis software on PC and have this driven from the console though.
@@ChamSysLtd Is there a resource that explains that process? I'm trying to connect the board to my pc via the network port but can't get the visualizer to respond.

We'll pass this feedback onto our software devs, this is possible using our MagicQ software. Shows can be loaded between MagicQ and QuickQ software.

Using a 'form' as the stage does allow use of decimel points (tested in QQ v10 Stable).
How do I set the size of the Stage object? And what is the Room object used for? I created one to see what it did, but now I'm unable to delete it.

We'll pass this over to our dev team for looking at in future.

I don't have the side bar when i click on design mode, do I have to enable it on the settings or was it removed in an update?
Are you running QuickQ v8.1?
