@@ChamSysLtd yer i did that it is only controling the intensity on that square its not controlling all? is there a way to make a master fader and a master tap tempo on the execute screen
Hi, how do you set the fader up? I've recorded a cue and made it a fader but doesn't have any control over the row as per this video. I have tried everything. You video starts with it already created and I can't find any info online or in the manual on how to set up from scratch.
Is it possible, when running MagicQ PC, with a single touch screen monitor, to open a small Execute window on some of the unused screen space to the right of the main MagicQ window, under the equaliser window. This would be a very handy feature.
This could be done - under setup > View system > View Monitors, configure EXT1 monitor size / position (note the left/top fields are using to dictate where the window opens) for example if your running a 1920x1080 res monitor, setting left to 960 would have the window open halfway across the display from the left side. Once set open the Exec window and from the 'view' menu at the top of MagicQ set this to EXT1
At 40 seconds in, you say you can add Cue Stacks. Is this true? I cannot find how to do this, and have requested it in the bug tracker some time ago. Has it been implemented?
For some reason when I assign a fader to an execute window, the "fader releases = no" option does not work. Any workaround?
This is becasue Execute items are 'tested' rather than run like a Playback. We have a feature request in to look at modifying this in future!
the legend himself
Very good thanks good ideas
Outstanding!
How do you put effects into it and make them faders and or what not
how do u setup that full/stadic fader is it like a master intensity fader for that whole row?
Its just a normal cue recorded into the Execute window, then the 'item type' set to Fader on the E encoder.

@@djhinormas959 You can't have intensity masters in the Exec window - these are available on playbacks only.
what about tap tempo for each row or globel?
@@djhinormas959 You can add a tap button into 'regions' which can be any area defined onto the Exec grid.
Hello, is it possible to expand sliders to more grid cells (for example 4) for make it bigger and more accuracy?
Absolutely - you have item height/width you can set per item on your X and Y encoders in the Execute Window.

In the Video, the 'intensity' fader is a cue with only the dimmer recorded into (Select fixtures, set dimmer to 100% (don't locate)), record cue).

Create the cue stack and copy it into your excute
Cue Stacks are supported, but you cannot add a go button seperately currently.
