you dont need to have information in the cues to make sizemasters. just record an empty stack , in function make it a sizemaster and assign a group id and what attributes you want it to control.
when making your fx, why chuck multiple groups in it , just use one ALL group with correct selection order and it will run smoothly across the whole rig.
When you create the stomp button, what if you have a ton of effects you had created? Can you just highlight/click on all of the options simltaneously so that you don't miss something? I haven't tried the console yet..but just thought of this while watching..
Awesome, that is great to hear. Thank you! Absolutely, in a few weeks I will start another step by step series on timecode. We will start with a song and by the end of the series complete the timecoded song.
Couldn’t get c2 to work , when I make pretty much anything like intensity 100 if I do not include c1,b1,and all other soft links , nothing in the execute page will work.
For some reason on my execute page, the colors do not work I’ve sent the soft link, but still can’t get them to function. They highlight red when clicked and everything, but nothing happens on the visualizer. Can anyone help?
Ran into the same problem recently. What I was doing wrong, is I wasn't selecting the groups I wanted the colours to affect BEFORE I was selecting and copying my colours to the exec grid. So say I had a truss full of epars that I wanted to make a colour strip for, I would copy the group "epars" to my exec page, clear my programmer, select and copy my colors to the exec page and nothing worked. Instead what you have to do, is copy your group "epars" to the exec page, clear your programmer/deselect them, REselect the group "epars", then select your colors and only now can you copy the information in your programmer to the exec page. TL/DR: If you save attributes to the exec page, ALWAYS select the groups/heads you want the attributes to affect FIRST, then add the attributes to your programmer before copying to the exec page.
Learned a ton.. hope to see more series
Nice man… thanks for taking the time to do this… a few things I didn’t know. Great job!

Thanks for that mini-series!
I learned so much from this :D
Are You planning to make a timecode tutorial on magicQ in the future?

@@visualrigs Awesome! Can''t wait :)
Is it possible to create a tilt master without controling any FX anyhow?
Only the fixtures up and down with a smooth tilt master?
nice work! ty
Nice work, I'd like to see what you'd load up your other execute pages with
Depending on the size of the rig I'll put some more specific FX cues or even quick go to looks as well.
I got it all to work but for some reason the c2 colors don’t work like at all

you could've just used the "RELEASE" command in assign special for a quick release button of all fx
🔥🔥
