    Great video! my brother used nail art flakes which are pearlescent in his art, makes alot of sense that those materials would work in modelling.

      Thanks! That's interesting, I'll see if I can try that somewhere in the upcoming videos. Great tip!
      As for this model, the reason I went with the flakes was because I wanted to mimic the "feather" effect from the movies.

      I'm using a lot of different colors in this piece, but the main colors of the blues are vallejo ultramarine 72.022 and magic blue 72.021. The skin is mainly basic skin tone 70.815 and the red hair gory red 72.011 with bloody red 72.010 as highlights. I can show the colors more in future videos if that's what people want.
