I'd really like to spend some time with the team at Sideshow. I've been painting Warhammer minis now for about 35 years and I think it would be really great to see how the skills translate to larger models. I think learning from someone who paints models like this would be a great shared learning experience.

Would be time consuming since every artist has a different preference. The airbrush here is the Insta customer micron which runs a pretty penny. Aside for that they all use different combinations of golden high flow, citadel, Tamiya and Vallejo paints. Maybe others as well.

what she is painting is the model figure sent to factory to be mass produced by artisans you never see, and as always they cut corners to cut down cost. this is like a game trailer of the "vision" of the final figure.
You guys should do a twitch channel of this and let people watch in real time so see the time and patience to do this work then prople will really see what they're paying for
One thing that's been crazy to me in watching this series has been how thinned down the paint seems to be before spraying... I keep wanting it to run like crazy over the forms, but the pressure that's dialed in seems to control it just fine... it'd be a bravery test for me to try to match that! ;-) Anyone have any hints there?

Hello. Questions to everyone that have patience to answer: at Sideshow they create (prints/molds) the prototypes and paint them, right? Then the companies that make the serial production use the prototype as reference? I guess the massive production is made by external companies... thanks if someone can explain better the workflow. 😅 yes!! every piece is her responsibility! I’m playing. No initially 1-3 models are painted and used for sampling in photography and factory production.

What brand paint brushes you use? I have tried several synthetics but none have that stiffness or maintain that point. Please help?
