This artist reinforces what I heard many years ago about painting characters: Start the same way you get dressed, starting with the skin and then working out layer by layer: undershirts, shirts, pants, jacket, etc. And if these maestros are going it it, it must be legit!
Absolutely incredible sculpt and gorgeous paint job. I’m so happy that Sideshow sculpts, proportions and paints their comic book character figures LIKE THEY’RE FROM ACTUAL COMIC BOOKS and don’t shy away from making them aesthetically pleasing to look at.
I think the innovative use of that pearlescent paint is going to be a big game-changer for the statues industry. A year from now we'll be seeing various collectibles shimmering with pearl and chrome accents, even those collectibles that don't necessarily call for it.
I have several Sideshow pieces. It's very nice to see the care taken with the pieces. I absolutely LOVE watching the paint process being used here. Dazzler turned out AMAZING! ❤

Michael Myers full.figure standing on round base of scenes from the movie 3. The OTHER version of #2 ,I believe that one is called Silver Screen, The same piece just in black and white. 4.The Batman that Laughs , with all of his chains and hooks, he is incredible. 5. Pennywise kneeling ontop of a coffin 6. Michelle Pfieffer as Catwoman, stretched out holding her whip and comes with a black cat you can pose anywhere. She is remarkably stunning! 7. Ghostface breaking through the doorframe. I want you to know, I go to horror conventions and meet the actors in my favorite movies. I have taken this piece with me to two separate conventions and I now have ALL of the kids autographs from the original movie along the white and green top part of that door frame ! They all loved it when they saw it. This piece is now priceless to me. 8. This one is gonna go WAY off from the rest, lol. The Cinderella piece, where her dress is coming to life. I currently am waiting on the latest Michael Myers full figure standing on a platform of skulls. And the Dr.Loomis figure. I've ordered some other items over the years, but these are the best ones. I've never been unsatisfied with anything I have ever received from you guys. I know I can trust your work, so I'm sticking with you. And it's videos like this one that show me WHY I never have any issues. You take pride in what you put out , and that makes a world of difference.

$700 is so little for the amount of work and knowledge this requires. Years of dedication and practice on top of the immense amount of work on the piece alone! Edit: Forgot to mention that the piece is incredibly beautiful. From the sculpting to the beautiful paintjob. It's all just mindbogglingly good.

I have 12 other wonderful statues from Sideshow, but I have never been more excited about one than this Dazzler. She is my ultimate favorite character and there has not been a large piece done on her in a very long while. I already have the fine art print and a large reproduction of the cover to Uncanny X-Men 130 that will be incorporated into the display I am building. I will send you pictures/video of the completed display. A Huge Thanks to Sideshow and their talented artists for bringing the character to life.

I paint a lot of miniatures and i love the Golden line. Was thrilled to see all the paints on the deso! I curious if the skin wash techniques work on a smaller scale.

This is gorgeous. I’ve dabbled in painting board game pieces with brushes but I’d love to get into air brushing! It looks so fun (but it probably isn’t when the figures are as realistic as yours 😅 so much work)
