We're painting a $700 X-Men Dazzler statue! Sideshow presents the Dazzler Premium Format Figure, an exuberant Marvel collectible inspired by the X-Men’s very own disco queen!
The Dazzler Premium Format Figure measures 31.25” tall, 13.4” wide, and 16.15” deep as Alison Blaire elevates her musical performance with mutant abilities that allow her to convert sound into light. Stunning in psychedelic silver, Dazzler livens up the dance floor by using her powers to create a trail of cosmic color beneath her rockin’ roller skates. She holds a hand mic above her like a beacon, its golden rays beaming almost as brightly as her feathery blonde hair and sparkling smile. Groovy!

This artist reinforces what I heard many years ago about painting characters: Start the same way you get dressed, starting with the skin and then working out layer by layer: undershirts, shirts, pants, jacket, etc. And if these maestros are going it it, it must be legit!
700$ is insane! But so is the amount of work just painting these figures takes!
It's a stunning figure!
I was wondering how a cast of a figure could be $700, but an already painted figure makes much more sense! That's a lot of skill required.

I think the innovative use of that pearlescent paint is going to be a big game-changer for the statues industry. A year from now we'll be seeing various collectibles shimmering with pearl and chrome accents, even those collectibles that don't necessarily call for it.

Dazzler is one of the most underrated and awesome X characters. Her power is brilliant and she's a rebel. She's a legend. Fact!

LOVE! Your talent astounds me and she looks incredible. I just wish there was some reddish/orange in her hair as Dazzler is a strawberry blonde, not a “bleach” blonde. Still, exquisite.

$700 is so little for the amount of work and knowledge this requires. Years of dedication and practice on top of the immense amount of work on the piece alone!
Edit: Forgot to mention that the piece is incredibly beautiful. From the sculpting to the beautiful paintjob. It's all just mindbogglingly good.

1. The Michael Myers Full Size bust with hand and knife
2. Michael Myers full.figure standing on round base of scenes from the movie
3. The OTHER version of #2 ,I believe that one is called Silver Screen, The same piece just in black and white.
4.The Batman that Laughs , with all of his chains and hooks, he is incredible.
5. Pennywise kneeling ontop of a coffin
6. Michelle Pfieffer as Catwoman, stretched out holding her whip and comes with a black cat you can pose anywhere. She is remarkably stunning!
7. Ghostface breaking through the doorframe. I want you to know, I go to horror conventions and meet the actors in my favorite movies. I have taken this piece with me to two separate conventions and I now have ALL of the kids autographs from the original movie along the white and green top part of that door frame ! They all loved it when they saw it. This piece is now priceless to me.
8. This one is gonna go WAY off from the rest, lol. The Cinderella piece, where her dress is coming to life.
I currently am waiting on the latest Michael Myers full figure standing on a platform of skulls. And the Dr.Loomis figure.
I've ordered some other items over the years, but these are the best ones.
I've never been unsatisfied with anything I have ever received from you guys. I know I can trust your work, so I'm sticking with you. And it's videos like this one that show me WHY I never have any issues. You take pride in what you put out , and that makes a world of difference.
Oh! I can't believe I left this one out! I also have the T-1000 with the arm piece. AND, I took this piece to Robert Patrick at a convention, and he was so happy to see it, even though he has one. But I had him autograph on the collar of the figure. And in our photo we took together, HE, got the wize idea to grab the metal spike hamd off of the figure and hold it up against my chest, and it was so spur of the moment that he did this , we are pretty much laughing in the photo. It was a GREAT EXPERIENCE! ! !@CollectSideshow

I ordered mine on day one and immediately began designing a display case worthy of such a beautiful statue. I have 12 other wonderful statues from Sideshow, but I have never been more excited about one than this Dazzler. She is my ultimate favorite character and there has not been a large piece done on her in a very long while.
I already have the fine art print and a large reproduction of the cover to Uncanny X-Men 130 that will be incorporated into the display I am building. I will send you pictures/video of the completed display.

This is gorgeous. I’ve dabbled in painting board game pieces with brushes but I’d love to get into air brushing! It looks so fun (but it probably isn’t when the figures are as realistic as yours 😅 so much work)
I ever have loved the first version of Dazzler.
I paint a lot of miniatures and i love the Golden line. Was thrilled to see all the paints on the deso! I curious if the skin wash techniques work on a smaller scale.
