    Next time you should keep it in the water, wet your hands before handling it AND keep your fingers out of the gills of that beautiful wild fish.....

    Cut off those treble hooks, replace with single, smash the barbs, or don't come to the river. And learn how to handle trout, or at least announce if you are harvesting. Respect your fish and your fisheries!!!

      No offense but shut your mouth purist.
      I’ll out fish you any day with flys,lures or bait.
      Your the problem on the rivers, you think your an elitist with your 1000$+ rod/reel and 1000$+ waders but get all mad when someone like me comes in with shorts and shoes with a shitty 30$ Walmart rod and out fishes you.
      Who’s the real sucker?

    Carefully with the word snag. Don't use that word.

      what? why?

    • @nehpetsrellek2750
      @nehpetsrellek2750 2 года назад

      @@fishingwithmagnes4114 because snagging is illegal. Snagging is termed as jerking, or attempting to jerk the hook into the fish.
      On the coast of Oregon , or any other place where salmon run snagging is asking for a ticket.
      The game Warden's watch closely for this practice.
      Local fishermen are carefully about using the word, the fisherman fishing next to you could be a game Warden.

      @@nehpetsrellek2750 Yeah I know what snagging is. I just didn't know why you say to not use that word. No problem

      @@fishingwithmagnes4114 yeah I know a fisherman, he hooked a legal fish, tagged it, then yelled across the river to a friend about how he had snagged up half dozen times that morning, (meaning his line had got caught on a log) next thing you know the warden was checking his fish.
      He was let go, (was a legal fish), but if the fish had been fowl earlier, (w/a hook mark on it) he would've gotten a ticket. 👍

    Snagging isn't fishing cuz!!! But hey...the American natives aren't required to follow the law. Small benefit for giving up all your land.
