Going thru this diagnosis now, nails show oil spotting, dimpling & splinter hemorrhages , thick receding separation of nail. Signs of psoriasis not fungal. Also what looks like Guttate psoriasis on butt but derm says folliculitis. I studio cycle, rubbing & sweating. Chest rash diagnosis is Grovers syndrome which is triggered by sweaty cycling class. Eczema as a kid, maybe some now, 76 YO white male. Lot of stress. Thoughts?
Given your history of cycling and sweating, the buttocks area certainly sounds like folliculitis. Do you have any other signs of the Psoriasis other than the nails? You could consider a nail biopsy if necessary.
@@drhannahkopelman Hi, doc put me on oral retinoid Acitretin 10mg x1 day. About 5 weeks now, "everything" showing signs of improvement, blood testing for liver etc, ok. That's a very low dose for my 175lbs. So happy with improvements, nails growing out, this drug good for acne & psoriasis & has good residual effect.
Hello Dr. Hannah, Can drinking Tahitian Noni Juice fully cure, heal, or recover from Psoriasis and Eczema? Looking forward to hearing from you soon. Thank you 🙏👍🙂
I want to emphasize that while Tahitian Noni Juice has been touted for various health benefits, there is no scientific evidence to support the idea that it can fully cure, heal, or recover someone from psoriasis or eczema. Psoriasis and eczema are chronic inflammatory skin conditions that typically require a combination of treatments, including topical medications, lifestyle changes, and sometimes systemic therapies, depending on the severity. I understand that people are often searching for natural remedies, but it’s important to be cautious with such claims. Noni juice may have some anti-inflammatory properties due to its antioxidant content, which could potentially offer mild relief for some individuals, but it should not be considered a standalone treatment.
Yes, you can have eczema without the intense itch that’s typically associated with it. Eczema often presents as red, inflamed skin, but the severity of symptoms can vary from person to person. While itching is one of the most common symptoms, some individuals may experience only the redness and inflammation without the itch. It’s important to note that even if the itching isn’t present, the underlying inflammation still needs to be managed to prevent the condition from worsening.
The condition you're describing sounds like it could be folliculitis, which is an inflammation of the hair follicles that can appear as red bumps or pimples under the skin, including in the genital area.
Wow this is the fourth video I watched and still don't know which one I have. Just when I think I have eczema some issues to psoriasis
