Love your reviews. Better than Matt’s!!! In the future, could you please include refrigerator cu ft? I love that you give us size of beds and showers. Hope you have a great time on your cruise!!!

Thank you so much. We do try to get the refrigerator capacities for the videos, but we don't always succeed in finding them. We will do our best in the future since we know you want that information. However, if you hear us refer to a "Dorm Fridge" or "Glorified Dorm Fridge," that means "Smaller than we would consider buying."

The Nexus is nice, but usually don't like entertainment above the driver/passenger as that eliminates 2 viewing seats, but not certain they rotate with this chassis. That wobble chair can be places anywhere for better viewing, then return to secure for transport.
The Delano (I pronounce it "Del - on - oh" and have never been corrected by sales staff). As I was looking, I automatically ruled out the Delano in not Thor (but I do have an issue), rather, the deal killer is that it is built on the 4500 chassis, which except for some creative math games, eliminates towing with its 3125lb tow rating. The 3500 chassis, despite its lower OCCC, has a towing capacity of 4220 lbs. One thing you didn't mention on either RV was the OCCC, but the one I looked at on the lot at LaMesa had an OCCC of 2112lbs. The issue I have with Thor is not giving specs where can't do calculations, to the extent that becomes misleading. And no, the 5000lb hitch can't tow 5000lbs, as the weakest point is GCWR minus GVWR (one of which Thor leaves out of the specs) = 3125 lbs. Not certain where you got the stats at 23:26 but presume from Thor literature, it states a towing capacity of 7500lbs. Technically, that is not wrong, just not the Delano. 7500 is actually the Mercedes published stat for the bare cutaway chassis as it shows up on Thor's (and other manufacturers) front door step before they do anything to it. The factory weight + house + the remaining OCCC ultimately determines the GVWR of 12125 which subtracted from the GCWR of 15250 results in the 3125 tow rating that the 5000 lb hitch can easily handle.

We agree about the entertainment over the driver, and you make a great point about the 4500 not having as high a tow rating as the 3500. Thanks for pointing that out for our viewers. You may have missed the OCCC because we list it on the screen as "Towing Capacity." It pops up on the screen right after each unit's "specs" page(s). You are right, we did pull the specs from the website where they sometimes provide only generic numbers. We really do appreciate yo posting this information for everyone. Thanks.

Love you guys! Can you find a Tiffin Midas 24mt to review? Also please include the cccc along with other weight specs.

We will put the Midas on the list. The “Cargo Capacity” number we provide is actually the OCCC from the yellow sticker. We should have been more clear on that. Thanks.

We're glad you're enjoying our content, but there is only one Matt. He is one of the reasons we started doing these reviews. Thanks.

The first thing I noticed was the white cabinets. A little too bright for me.
Don't think it has a power driver's seat. They should have used the Transit. Looks like a tight squeeze to get to the back from the driver's seat.

Ha ha, Rose loves the lighter cabinets, but Dan just wants the interior to be bright regardless of the color. Yes, the transition from driver compartment to the rear in some of these units can be quite challenging. That's one of the reasons we like to show Dan squeezing his way in or out of the seat.

@halffasttravelers2702 I do like the white but would like it toned down or off white. Like the brown accents.

Its "least expensive" for a reason. And i doubt its four seasons friendly.

It's all a matter of making choices based upon what is most important to the individual. Some are willing to risk a lower quality unit to save money. We agree that this might not be the best unit for freezing winter temperatures.

Honestly i've lost any admiration for these mass produced class C. Just way too many having problems, and at these price points, there's just no way I would ever consider one.
I just keep eyeing the europeans little full fibreglass shell, no slides, class c's. 😂🍻

      @halffasttravelers2702  Месяц назад +1

We can see why you'd prefer the European models. We love their small footprint and floor plans, and we're becoming more and more averse to slides! At the show in Tampa, we are going to search out some of the fiberglass units to see how they are designed. We remember seeing some interesting models from Chinook that we need to take a closer look at. And just for you, we are going to dive into the truck camper models a little closer this year as well. Hopefully, they'll have a few Northern Lites we can walk through.

@ it's really unfortunate u guys have had such a slide nightmare, n I get y u got one with a slide. But these class c RV's with slides r not made well anymore imo. Slide is too big n heavy for one reason, n slide components cheaper made.
I haven't seen many chinooks so good idea check them out. Truck camper popularity is booming, palamino now makes hard sided truck campers, (vs just pop-up) n a few tiny models from NL, lance etc came out this year too. A company here in canada called General Coach canada just brought back making truck campers again as well. U don't see many utubers showing truck campers hardly much either. 🍻

We did like some of the design features, but our biggest pet peeves are cabinetry and finishing touches.

I could do a finer job finishing cabinets, etc. You have to wonder about the rest of the quality, where it really could matter.

We found some good and bad, but we can certainly see how this model doesn't appeal to everyone.
