Thanks for the reviews... we're gearing up to pull the trigger on a MidWest MD2, so we're nervous. We're newbies & we've gone back & forth with different types of rvs. There are good & bad points about each one, so it's overwhelming. I wish I was more of a "camper" - maybe we could've saved quite a bit of money... unless we went the storyteller route 😅 Also, thanks for the OCCC...i don't think most people even consider them & it's so important! Thank you to you & Rose. Hope you're getting your rv issues taken care of.🙏
We're so happy we can help with your RV search. As you may know, we had an American Coach Patriot MD2 by Midwest Automotive, and we absolutely loved it. The only issues we had were an inverter that went bad, and an issue with the Mercedes Fresco windows leaking. If you haven't already checked out our evaluation video on that van you may find it interesting.
The water view port on the Solis Pocket is awesome, a simple, direct, no fail system. The bed situation with the overhead storage seems claustrophobic. Outdoor shower is a great idea.
I don't care much for the first van , second and third ..not liking them either , I don't want to sleep in a $100,000 tent, I want a non Murphy dedicated bed . The twin bed van was the best of the four but its not for me , when u can't put the driver's seat back as far as it can go and you can't stretch out your legs its not for me, and he said reasonably priced, I thought nope they are way over priced. Just my opinion, Winnebago needs to work on a few things, well really a hell of a lot of things..
You make some great points. We especially like the "$100,000 tent" comparison. Class B vans aren't for everyone, but for those who like the camping type of experience they could be just the right RV. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. We appreciate it.
I love your reviews, n how u stumble on things n show hidden stuff lol. Yup reds my favourite paint colour choice too! And those little steps inside rv's i'm now calling evil 👿, cause yup i was too busy gazing in june at a couple new rv's forgot the step was there looking at this class c n missed the step n broke my foot. Most embarrassing i'll tell ya! Never been in an rv that had a stupid little step like that before, n will never go in another again 👿. Hope we meet up someday, because we have the same moral compass, never be moving around, unbuckled in a vehicle while it's on the highway! Just plain stupid and we see the stupids on other channels all the time 😂. 🍻
Thanks, we like to go into a new RV as blindly as possible to keep our reactions genuine. It does mean we miss some things on occasion, but we feel it is a good trade off. Plus, the folks in the comments like yourself have been very good at pointing out things we miss. We really appreciate that. I have to admit your step story made us smile, but we are sorry that you broke your foot. You seem to have taken it in stride. If we get up to the Great White North we will definitely reach out and let you know. Maybe you can help us with our truck camper reviews. As always, we appreciate your post.
We have heard that a lot. We will say that we did compare the Winnebagos and Thors at the show, and the Winnebagos seemed to be of much better quality. We will be doing a review of those Thor Class B's in a future video. Thanks.
@@halffasttravelers2702I’ll always go with their Travato model over their other Class B models. I just think Winnebago needs to vamp the decor, interior colors and outdated fixtures. The sinks and water fixtures need an overhaul the most but I like the storage and layout. I actually prefer the interior look on the Thor Class B vans but their quality and reputation is what makes me stay away from Thor!!
They literally all look the same some small variations of coloring and cabinet style but for some reason American designers cannot get away from the way they design class b vans, it is so boring
You are right. There do seem to be a set number of floor plans that are being copied across manufacturers. We have come across a few different models like the Storyteller, but they are few and far between.
A very good review! Thank you for showing the CCC that the audience can't get it elsewhere.
We are so glad it was helpful! The cargo capacity is such an important thing to know. We will always include it if we can find it.
Great reviews! Thanks :)
Thanks, we're glad you enjoyed the video.

We completely agree. We can't wait to see what they come up with next.
Thank you!
You're welcome. We're happy to help.
Ram track mounts. They have accessories that you can buy that uses them.
That's great to know as we weren't aware of how the system worked. Thanks for providing this info for our viewers.

I just heard that Winnebago stock is doing poorly because of quality issues with their vehicles
That's interesting, we'll have to check that out. Thanks.
@@halffasttravelers2702 Apparently the CEO brought this up during the 3rd quarter earnings call.
Thanks for the info. It seems that sales are down across the board. Probably a correction from the post-COVID surge.

The first time I saw your video I thought you guys said you were "the half-as*ed travelers". Lol.
Well, we are admittedly half fast from time to time. Glad you got a laugh.
I can't watch anything on a dodge 2 wheel drive promaster.
Yes, we do prefer the Mercedes, but there is something to be said for the lower pricing. Dan is also a big fan of the 4-wheel drive units.
@halffasttravelers2702 it's ford transit or nothing for me. Just a personal choice. And I hate diesel and having to deal with DEF
We are going to be looking at two Transit Class B's from Pleasure Way in an upcoming video. We think you're going to like them.
Winnebago lost their way the past few yrs.
