I also have underestimated Lyney because i dont like charged attackers but Like Tignari he is a better unit than Ganyu at least playstyle wise. If you have Dehya you could use her as a pseudo shielder instead of Kazuha tho the damage will be lower

Sucrose 110%. Lynette if you're playing for personal preference and want to do whatever you want, but for maximizing taser team dps, Sucrose is so much better it's not really even a comparison.
I think Sucrose is the way to go if you have artifacts for her. Sometimes, you might need to have two full EM VV sets, which might be a bit hard or tedious to get... In that case, you can always use another Anemo driver like Heizou or Lynette which can run a Atk/Anemo/Crit build while being still nice to use! But yeah, overall and if you are willing to spend resources, I would use Sucrose at level 90 (very important for swirl damage) with Hakushin Ring and a full EM 4pc VV set If you are lazy (like me) to get another full EM 4pc VV set, then Lynette and Heizou can do the job
It only seemed a problem a couple of times on this run, but how does it feel to play Lyney without a shielder? It feels kinda bad to me, but I can see you did fine here. Did it take some resets?
actually, playing him without shield pretty easy. His cats taunt enemies, you also can play from distance + skills in doging. I don't have Zhongli so I always play without shielder and Lyney haven't became an exeption

Yeah, Xingqiu and Beidou combo is pretty much awesome tbh They get soooo much damage reduction and even though Beidou's shield is not the greatest, it can work due to this Also, everytime Lynette uses her Elemental Skill, she heals herself a bit, so surviving is way easier! All character have their own charm to be honest! Personally, I enjoy both Ganyu and Lyney, but it's true that Lyney's gameplay feels more enjoyable haha~ I hope you can get your C6 Lynette soon, she feels great to play and she fits in a lot of teams tbh. He's getting lot of resistance from beidou & xingqui.
They both have damage reduction as well which stack. You can get something like 80% DR with them both.
