why would you run any team? for fun (a team that has your fav element or characters in one place), for more particles (e.g. faruzan is gonna be in a double anemo team by standard, but some might prefer triple bcs low er needs and other anemo gets buffed), for shield breaking, great synergy between teammates. its like going mono pyro in the cryo monstat domain: why not? it fufills energy needs, breaks all the cryo shields and its a strong team
sometimes the characters that buff the teams are from the same element, like Zhongli with Itto and Gorou, and Xianyun with Xiao and Faruzan, but with teams like mono hydro and mono pyro is bc they regenerate energy faster bc there are only particles from one element (sometimes two and they usually go Favonius)
Not the case here I think Oni just wanted to use the team for fun but on abyss cycles where enemies have elemental shields running mono can help speed up breaking shields

I wanna understand what exactly is the use of mono teams i mean i know the resonance buff is 2 units but why run mono elemental teams
