Constellations are based on stars. Stars' positions aren't magically symmetrical. Though in this game their positions might be magical, so there's that.

was going to come here to say this. as a graphic designer i'm not annoyed since it follows the actual constellation shape. yeah it isn't as visually pleasing but i'd rather it be accurate
@@lakia-chan as a graphic designer (also illustrator), and someone who also studying on biology, zoology, I must said that everything natural will look uneven (even human anatomy but that minor details much like how Candace's cons look symmetrical in the first glance but uneven when you realize it) the fact that they can make Constellation like that and choose to make them look uneven like that is that it capture the authetical of nature design, if you make it even, the things would look man-made which will go against the point of Constellation is that it's light from the stars that randomly appear across the universe, not some ceiling light, so it's good to see they actually care about little details like this (if they actually did 💀) hell even Starbucks's logo asymmetrical to make the mermaid more human
Fun fact: the reason the constellation isn't symmetrical is because the constellations are actually 3d, if you turn the character around in the main overview, then switch to the constellation screen you can see a bit of their depth
I went to check and that's pretty neat.
Never noticed because you can't go from character to const using a controller.

I give her the Catch. She isn't satisfied. I pull Engulfing Lightning. "I don't need this much er" She tells me. "Give me more field time." She grabs Bennett and forces him to throw himself off enemies. "You just need to funnel me more. I can deal more damage with Homa." I can't pull for Homa, I don't have enough primogems. She grabs my credit card. It declines. "Guess this is the end." She grabs Gouba. She says "Gouba, get them." There is no hint of sadness in his eyes. Nothing but pure, no icd pyro application. What a cruel world.
I feel this exact same way about Fischl. I desperately want to create a single fucking team that doesn’t use her, but her off field damage and electro application is just too goof

As a long-term Candace enjoyer, I can positively say she's my favorite hydro unit. She's got some problems, but I've always had fun using her. That said, C6 brings her utility way up a lot, particularly as a bloom enabler. I wish C6 was in her base kit.
Maybe I will get a new Candace video up soon to showcase her full power...

@@lordkaiser1404 have u considered emblem for her? I think that's the best for her at c6, then depending on the team ur using and ur substats either an EM weapon or an ER one.
@@YukiKitsune361 im planning a burgeon or hyperbloom team with kaveh as the driver, thoma/kuki as trigger, then candace and xingqui as the hydro units.. im not sure if hp/hp/hp, em/em/em or hp/hydro/crit will be candace c6 best artifact build on this team..
@@lordkaiser1404 If you use her in hyperbloom / burgeon then she won't need any EM as she shouldn't be dealing the reaction damage, same with kaveh. She can opt for more hp and maybe be crit focused and kaveh could be a bit more damage focused but still having a bit of EM.
Recently built Candace to be a dps using that nymph set. It’s definitely better than using heart of depths but damn dude, genshin has no love for our desert dwelling ladies ;-;
Sigh tell me about it. I had to build a force melt team just to make Dehya somewhat playable. And I recently got Candace but have been unable to find any meaningful way to use her other than merely for aesthetics

@@isabelamaria5838 I focused attack and crit rate so I can get as much crit damage from sub stats. There’s also the em focus you could do where you just stack a lot of em and have good crit values. Big numbers

Auto attck Candace player here, fun fact her second auto attack the shield bash counts as crush damage! Like a Geo or claymore so you can do damage to those shield or rock without those two by just 2 hits, dash to reset and two hits again!

Lets face it, there is no other pyro applicator in the game except Xiangling. You can make the argument for Thoma but it's only for burgeon.
nahida + pyro is better bc it's consistent and lasts longer plus nahidas em share. xiangling needs kazuha to keep up with burning if the one that needs the pyro aura applies too much of their element.

I feel like using Xiangling is perfectly acceptable here, considering that you're using a comp that's very reminiscent of a Hu Tao Vape comp, but swapping Hu Tao for Candace and Xingqiu for Xiangling.

Yanfei is my main on my alt account. I really like the way she plays.
Candace-xiangling bennet-xinqu is my current vape and reverse vape team, and she certainly adds a good bit too it. Sword nerds hide behind the spartan waifus.
Her voice lines are awesome too, "hear my prayer" just sounds so commanding.
Her voiceline are def in top 5 best character combat lines. Its so soothing, like water sound

But all his supports were meta characters... Pretty sure dehya xinyan and Noelle wouldn't work as well as Bennett XL and zhongi, no matter how much you like them 😂
yeah you can pull for non meta characters and make them work as long you build meta characters to support them

candace basically needs a pyro xingqiu to work right and hoyo seems pretty disinterested in making more characters like that cuz they're so busted
Thought yall might appreciate hearing that I 36* cleared the Abyss with Candace this time around.
I used her to infuse Kuki with hydro so that Kuki could on field drive hyperbloom while under the effects of Nahida burst AND Baizhu burst.
Candace is the only character that makes this team possible

I’m part of that 0.2% abyss usage that can 36 star. I use her to turn Xinqui into my onField hydro applicator & DPS in the Vape team with Benny & Xiangling. The team actually slaps though. Probably my best one.

I leveled her to 90 8,8,8 than I abandoned her. I find myself wishing sacrificial polearm was a thing. Maybe my problem was I really wanted her to be support despite those insane normal attack multiplayers.

I heard Candace has some use in Nilou teams when combined with Yaoyao, to have Yaoyao on field and doing both Dendro and Hydro, I guess. But that's not exactly a Candace showcase, haha.
I liked the Sunburn comp with Jean, Nahida, and Bennett because it utilized niche interactions to keep a pyro aura on the enemies even when Candace was vaporizing.
The flying hilichurl you saw is part of invisible-platform puzzle, and he is standing on one of those.
ngl candace became one of my favourites after I started using her for her shield and I’ve been thoroughly enjoying her gameplay. idk, shield/parry mechanics just feel so cool to use (one of the reasons I love beidou so much)
I actually like to use candace and beidou together lol
But beidou is too clanky compared to candace, candace just feels better

Tfw when the Candace meme build is able to clear floor 12 and my actual C1 Hu Tao can't because I never farm artifacts
I am happy with my Hyperbloom team (Nahida, Xingqiu, Nilou, and Kuki Shinobu), but haven't settled on what the 2nd team should be for Spiral Abyss. I have upgraded Bennett, Xiangling, and Zhongli so I would only need to spend time building up Candance and I could have 2 teams that together are capable of completing Spiral Abyss Floor 12 with full stars.

DMC Constellation 6 grants a Dendro DMG Bonus, plus a DMG bonus correspondent to the element that interacted with their Burst, to the active character under the passive effect of the Burst.
In other words, if the burst reacts with Hydro, it gives Hydro DMG bonus to Traveler plus Dendro DMG Bonus.
Candace Hydro Infusion, therefore, makes Traveler take advantage of both Bonuses. And it also synergies with her Normal/Charged ATKs Boost.
Of course, this is the case with a DPS Dendro Traveler. It’s useless if DMC is used as a support.
I run my Candace with Dehya. They work very well together. My Candace is now C6, she has a HoD set, HP build and equipped with Cyno's weapon. Just her and Dehya, they both hit in the 30K-60K range but I can rely on them to melt out about 150K-250K damage in a single rotation. With the right supports they can push this up to around 500K in a single cycle. These figures assume that they crit which fortunately they do most of the time. BTW, if you have Baizhu, he's a good fit in a Dehya-Candace team.
im interested to know more i like both dehya and candace and both were/are considered terrible. so i've been working on a way to team them up. who are the other 2 on your Dey/cand team? Also any flex recommendations?
@@ByakuganXEyeX Neither are "terrible", both were greatly misunderstood and hence underrated. With the release of Furina, they have become even better. In fact, Candace is a better hydro applicator than Xingqui and Dehya is almost unkillable. Add Furina into the mix an things get interesting fast. But that's too involved to get into here. As for flex: in general go double hydro / pyro. Or keep a hydro flex and add an anemo swirler. With Furina, use a dendro healer. Also always use Dehya before Candace; the vape damage is insane.
@mmdinnovations2990 okay so specifically melt. Because the only team I could build with chars I enjoyed was Deyha, Nahida, Furina, Yao-Yao. Couldn't find a place for Candace. I just like ha ing fun and trying to make things work but alot of things just won't work buut I had an idea. You have discord?
@@ByakuganXEyeX well actually vape but both benefit from reactions. But to give you some idea; just based on Dehya-Candace dynamics I would go Dehya Ex2; Candace E or hold E and that's worth at least 1 50K vape not counting anything else and that's a whole lot more vs multiple targets and then Candace Ult, switch to Dehya and go bunga wunga. Works a charm and then I haven't even factored in other team members. But play around with them together, they're really strong.

I know right, it's kinda the main reason I tried to avoid using her to begin with, but there aren't any pyro characters that can apply the element sufficiently aside from her (also really needed the damage due to the beasts on 12-1)

I use 2 piece guided and 2 piece heart of depth, with crit dmg circlet, hydro dmg goblet, and hp% sands, with xiaos Spear it helps a lot and I got my candace to do up 34k herself with Pyro max she does was like 65k to 72k I saw once with her shield and charged burst atks do like 44k
i just got her to 80 like a month ago and i prefarmed and farmed her mats for lvl 90 xd so this is nice to see something i can use her for

Its great the way you make the 36 stars with her workout, but I wouldn't say she is your main DPS, after all, out of the whole team she is who spent the least time on field, the time you spent using Zhongli and Bennett was just so much more and Xiangling basically delt more damage, wanting or not, Candace felt like an extra in the team, maybe if you tried doing normal auto atks instead of charged would have been better, but who knows?
Nymph is an upgrade compared to HoD only if Bennet uses low base ark weapons (lower than 608). Supposing u use low base ark weapons on Bennet, the DMG boost from Nymph compared to HoD is around 2%-6% depending on ur support and Candace's weapon.

I tried doing this after fully(mostly) building my C2 Nahida, but I got distracted with building a physical attack Rosaría and never came back to it. I should try again, I have the support for a perma-freeze team+Raiden and Ganyu is boring to play.
I upgrade her talents to level 8 at level 80 but i don't build her yet so this video inspire me to finally build her ❤

Actually, candace is pretty good as a support for beidou, which i main for an electro charged team. Before that, i was using beidou as a physical dps, which physical uh... sucks. but with candace she can deal hydro damage with her normals instead which is much better.

Professional art person here, and I agree with you! But to play devil's advocate, the imbalance of constellation heights is somewhat justified by looking at how the line weight for the vertical portion of the constellation isn't perfectly symmetrical on one side as it flips to the other (it leans left on the bottom and leans right on the top. It's only really visible if you look at the entire left shape vs the entire right shape). Stars are also never perfectly symmetrical in the celestial sphere anyways, so moving one slightly down the circle draws attention to it on purpose.
However, I still I agree with you from a design perspective because the focal point visually of the constellation is very obviously the arrowhead, so to distract from it with the upper right star would be less effective than just keeping it symmetrical lol. Though maybe as you're activating constellations one by one, each of them could feel more important if the player notices (or at least "feels") the little asymmetries created by having the lines between stars intersecting the shield-shape to make slightly different shapes along the way. Honestly I think that's a valid argument from a gameplay perspective. I'd also add that the different constellations gives the feeling of the shield logo being in perspective without actually rotating the constellations (because obviously stars are so far away that rotating them in space would feel very weird to do, so all designs must be fully 2D). In that sense, since the shield is always only on one side of her and that side happens to be her left, your right, giving the impression of perspective very slightly within an otherwise symmetrical design actually feels pretty effective to me.

i think yunjin would seriously buff candace’s normal attacks. u could use thoma as the pyro applicator too i think. Candace, Thoma, Yun Jin, and either Bennett or Zhongli. if u choose zhongli its a full polearm impact team lol
So Thoma's pyro application is insufficient to consistently vape attacks due to how often his application procs. Yunjin also does give a decent buff to normal attacks but it isn't as valuable as Bennett's buff due to Candace's normal scalings being relatively high
